Worked as a long term temporary Personal Assistant which included resolvement of management issues such as clinical waiting time problems, lack of equipment (primarily echocardiography) for new patients for testing before consultation and junior doctor clinal punctuality. Also resolved office issues for the secretaries. Was also asked to help with the management of the admissions listing and scheduling. Employed first to Professor of Cardiology which was the position which also required the management responsibilities as well as medical research assistance. I also worked for 2 Electrophysiologists (one female and renowned as a specialist in Brugada Syndrome and Long QT Syndrone) and a Vascular Surgeon.

FSA Project Management and Marketing Project - managed successful project to ensure 3000 brokers, who provided employer with c£2 billion of lending per year, were fully compliant with General Insurance Regulations which came in on 14 Jan 2005. Monitored and ensured regular movement in the progress of the stages through to implementation; introduced system for regular communication of progress updates; maintained and updated the 4 live databases with progress so that customer-facing staff had accurate status level information when in broker discussions Attended weekly senior management meetings and ensured that both internal Risk and Audit Departments were fully informed of the project’s progress at all times. Generated weekly progress reports for senior management. Implemented and created standard documentation which was used in all essential areas of process. Recruited and trained six temporary staff to assist with the project.

* Created training networking system. In 2 years over £60k was saved
with no reduction in training standards and actual improvement in
quality gained. During this time was also holder of and responsible
for £40, 000 IT training budget.
* Created electronic systems within IT which prevented duplication
invoice payment. Over £30k was saved in 2 years by using this
method.
* Created tracking system for all purchase orders. Nothing then was
ordered over budget and/or without prior Director signed approval.
Money saved was immense and was then implemented across
whole company.
* Created electronic system for all major IT Contracts, Service Level
Agreements and Licences held. No duplication agreement or licence
purchases occurred after this was implemented saving over £50, 000.
