Fitness First is one of the biggest commercial gyms within the Middle East and Worldwide.
Being a Personal Trainer has kept me motivated and determined to achieve my goals for myself and others, whilst learning on the job to enhance my skills and knowledge.
Being qualified by IFPA (International Fitness Professionals Association) opened my knowledge with the Fitness Industry and learning the skills necessary to progress forward through practical and theoretical knowledge.

My main role for this position:
○ Keeping members/clients stationed with their goals
○ Maintaining Professionalism on the gym floor
○ Keep good etiquette e.g. gym floor presentable, company targets up to date daily etc.
○ Staying up to date with the latest Fitness trends/workouts and maintain good knowledge of the Fitness Industry.

My main role as a senior account manager, I was responsible for:
o Set-up first base meetings with prospective clients
o Manage/organize my senior advisers day to day schedule
o Additional admin preparations before/after meetings
o Learn about the finance industry/products & services and to understand what the main focus is and how Acuma stands out than any other wealth management company.

My role as a Business Development Executive, I was responsible for:
o Researching on biggest property/real estate development companies worldwide, as well as property portals e.g. real estate publishers, websites, newspapers/magazines etc.

o Contacting each individual company explaining about the International Property Show, and gaining interest of participation within our show. Occasionally attending meetings if necessary

o Attending other relevant shows to gain experience in communication and networking with top property developers locally & overseas

o Was in charge of overseeing the completion of the IPS2013 brochure and website. I managed the content that went on both areas, as well as overseeing the final design before its launch.

The International Property Show is global platform event aimed to bring the biggest developers from all regions of the world, to exhibit their latest projects, innovative ideas, meet & learn from other companies and to make onsite transactions. This is partnered with the Annual Investment Meeting to attract more investors, and to make the networking more substantial and worthwhile.

My main role with Strategic as a Junior Producer, was to coordinate with the key guests/speakers that were attending the event(s) we were organizing. Also attending the ministers meeting schedules with other ministers that were attending AIM.
We recently organized an event call The Annual Investment Meeting 2012, which was under the order from The Ministry Of Foreign Trade, UAE with the guidance of HE Sheikha Lubna Bint Khalid Al Qassimi, Minister of Foreign Trade. It's an event that we establish to bring World Wide Ministers, Investors, Corporate Owners, Media etc. to discuss business opportunities with other possible clients. I was in charge of handling the Ministers meeting schedule with the other Ministers. It was good experience communication wise which built up my vocabulary whilst talking to the other Minister's on their level.

o Supporting the project director with speakers’ acquisition and follow-up

o Assessing each invited ministers’ program of activities and coordinating with embassies, consulates, head of protocols

o Attending relevant functions and meetings pertaining to Ministers schedules

o Communicating with speakers’ on the program and their personal schedules

o Creating the ministers’ agenda and daily planning during the event

o Being the main contact for ministers onsite during the event

o Supporting with the video production for AIM 2012 CNN Commercial and AIM 2012 Official Video Presentation

My role at Earnest Insurance Brokers was to basically learn what the company specializes in and to eventually get into the role I was positioned for.
The company's profile was based on car & life insurance, I was in the life and pensions department learning about how to give life insurance if people asked for it. I was eventually going to go into specific training on how to be a sales consultant in this field, but opportunities went into another direction.
I did learn some key experience in this job in terms of communication over the phone, face to face communication and first hand business meetings. It was a step into what I would be dealing in future positions in terms of basic knowledge of daily routines in an office environment.

I started off by helping around the restaurant, bar, hotel etc. just to get knowledge on how the place operated and to know the people I was working with.
Eventually once I had got enough knowledge I went to working on the bar learning the different products that was sold, the right measurements, knowing how to talk to the customers, learning to use the cash register etc.
Once I had gain that knowledge and the trust from my employer, I got handed other tasks e.g supervising the bar at certain times when days it was at its peak of business, handling on-site booking/pre-booking in the hotel as well as maintenance.
I took the basic knowledge from this job and pushed it forward so that I can gain more experience in other fields of work.
