Responsible for the following aspects of the supply chain: raw materials planning, production planning, warehousing, sourcing and purchasing. Also involved in identifying and implementing initiatives to reduce the overall supply chain cost base.

- Formulating an annual purchase plan based on budgetary estimates, creating purchase requisitions and adapting requests to the EOQ, MPR and min-max methods.

- Optimizing Inventory level by improving supply performance and supply check procedure.

- Analyzing financial impact of leaf grades replacement before the final decision.

- Preparing short and long term cash flow requirements of TMs & NTMs inventories level projections for Budget & the SC Department Manager.

- Established core processes and business practices around production planning, scheduling and forecasting that had failed to exist prior, resulting in a significant improvement in costs, customer service and credibility.

- Manage the production planning activities as a part of the end to end supply chain for a site by ensuring value & service in the eyes of the customer & it's achieve by: weekly run for MPS, use KAIZEN tools for improvement of operation processes, specify the capacity and loading level which needed, manage all sudden demand changes, control the yield calculations for NTMs, analyze demand requirements to identify production and supply bottlenecks and recommend actions for resolution, directs production planning to ensure on time availability of products to fill customer orders.

- Giving full support to the Department Manager during AP/LE studies to maintain BOM structures and to run whole MRP cycle.

- Working closely with suppliers and customers to improve operations and reduce cost.

- Managing the purchasing function with annual spend up to $100 MM and 30 suppliers.

- Conduct studies of material costs and supplier services and recommend changes in purchasing procedures to improve service and/or reduce cost.

• Responsible for running MRP effectively for Tobacco items.
• Taking into account parameters like container size and duration while determining the Purchase Requisition.
• Planning for raw materials required for all products, ensuring their availability in the right quantities at the right price all over the time.
• Managing and monitoring the movement of all materials with due relevance to associated transportation logistics and ensuring optimal usage of all available resources to execute delivery as per schedule.
• Updating the system with regards to BOM changes, master file records, planning parameters and customer orders, revising observation reports and making remarks as required.
• Reviews and follow up open purchase orders weekly and determines needs of expedite or delay against updated MRP.
• Providing necessary input related with available TMs (Tobacco Materials) and NTMs (Non Tobacco Materials) inventory to ensure the consequent processes are carried out properly.
• Following up and communicating replacement items & quantities related with blending function and/or inventory on periodical basis. (weekly and monthly)
• Preparing monthly / yearly reports related with the TMs & NTMs inventory levels and yearly requirements.
