• Produce, review and update the Project Environmental Management Plan on a regular basis
Develop and implement the project environmental strategy.
• Ensure that the Project Environmental Management System is to implemented and operated on site through a programme of checking and audit.
• Report on the sites environmental performance against the Project's objectives and targets.
• To implement a system of waste reduction.
• To co-ordinate and maintain the environmental training programme Provides appropriate leadership and vision to inspire others to deliver the environmental strategy.
• Produce and communicate environmental procedures and notices.
• Promote environmental awareness on the project.
• Chair monthly environmental forum.
• To liaise with the community liaison office and Client's representative regarding complaints from third parties on noise, dust and or other environmental issues.

• Providing advice on all aspects of environmental protection and improvement.
• Supporting the review and revision of Aspects and Effects register.
• Review and revision of relevant procedures and instructions.
• Conducting and reporting on compliance audits and inspections.
• Delivery of Environmental training.
• Provision of environmental assessments as required.
• Assessment of safety case documentation
• Assisting in the production of Business process management (BPM) and pioneering assessments.
• The design, supervision and implementation of routine and non-routine technical surveys and tests to monitor environmental conditions.
• Monitoring and reporting of discharges and waste disposals
• Supporting management of the waste environmental monitoring programme in compliance with aerial and liquid discharge authorizations

• Participate in project budget planning and development
• Establish project work plan
• Monitor, review and evaluate progress
• Coordinate and attend meetings
• Establish and maintain internal and external contacts as necessary
• Provide advices to participants
• Act as a resource person by performing research, analyzing information, providing documentation and preparing reports
• Monitor record keeping and file maintenance for program and project
• Supervise other project staff
• Verify and analyze the accuracy of all data and information used or generated by project
