Responsibilities:
Reporting to the General Manager.
Managing a team of over 9 administrative & technical staff.
Planning, organizing, directing and controlling the IT department, staff and operations.
Strategic planning & management of IT Landscape, as well as oversee the processes of designing & implementing new technologies.
Responsible for aligning the IT services with business needs & business strategy.
Managing all the IT Projects (including the KSE Full Automation Project).
Requirements gathering, client’s requirements elicitation and preparing of project requirements documents for new IT projects.
Direct the IT Service operations, delivery and support.
Overseeing the management of IT landscape including hardware landscape, network landscape, servers, databases, backups & application software.
Responsible for IT risk management, IT audits & assurance of compliance with quality standards & other enterprise environmental factors.
Manage the IT budgeting and expenditure on IT landscape and IT service delivery, operations & support.
Responsible for improving of the organization’s existing IT systems & Services, as well as establishing new IT Services in accordance with the business development.
Recommending and directing the process of service improvements and efficiencies.
Developing, Executing and Controlling IT Policies and Procedures.
Procurement management for the IT landscape including hardware infrastructure, networking & software landscape.
Responsible for the recruitment and training of new IT staff.
Responsible for defining & maintaining IT policies and procedures, information security policies and disaster recovery plans & procedures.
Responsible for maintaining IT Configuration management and Change control management systems.

KSE ERP project (Financial, Auditing, Assets management & HR systems)
KSE Network enhancement & Security project.

Responsibilities:
Contributed to the establishment of the Project Coordination Unit for the company.
Deploy and implement project-management methodologies and skills for bringing projects in under scope, budget, & time constraints, and in to the required quality.
Collaborate with clients and business partners to define project plans and execution approaches based on business goals and strategic initiatives.
Collaborate with third party vendors & Subject Matter Experts to identify implementation techniques, tools, objectives and goals.
Define and direct project goals, objectives, critical success factors, milestones, quality measures and project risks.
Manage project stakeholders and communicate with customers, partners, and internal forces to ensure successful implementation of solutions.
Oversee infrastructure and platform design (hardware and software) and custom solutions delivery for internal and external projects.
Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
Attained customers’ recognition for outstanding project management talents.

This was a contract based as per patch job that gave me the opportunity to design Advanced courses and training programs on redhat Enterprise Linux (v4/5), and open source technologies;
Played the main role on the instruction and technical training for these training programs.
- Planned for and actively contributed to the implementation, management, maintenance and tuning of the hardware infrastructure, operating systems, databases, backup policies, systems security and third party application software for the NECC center.
- Planned for and implemented disaster recovery policy (Oracle Dataguard 10g for both RAC and single instance databases).
- Managed and directed system and database administration team that is responsible for performing the daily operational tasks and routines.
- Mentored and assisted associate services staff.
- Identified critical training needs and requirements.
- Effectively contributed to all development efforts and served as key technical resource.
- Implemented project-management methodologies to manage many projects for the NECC center through initiation to closure.
- Managed technical platform implementations and infrastructure.
Instructed, trained and got involved in both theoretical and practical aspects of teaching computer science, software development, database management systems, computer networking and computer programming techniques to the under graduate students of computer science and information systems.
Worked in team based environment and participated in performing analysis, design, Implementation and documentation tasks for the sake of producing computer Application software including successfully achieved Client/Server database Applications, Multi-tier Applications and Web-based Applications, using MS VB 6.0, MS ASP.NET, MS SQL Server 2000, Oracle 8i and 9i.
