• Managing contracts under General Services Dept. such as hospitality, cleaning, facilities management, catering, fit-out works, etc.
• Manage authority approvals such as QCDD for the building in liaison with the building owner.
• Manage tendering process of General Services Contracts
• Creating official documents for the GS such as memo, internal announcements, official letters, minutes of meeting, contracts, scope of work, BOQ, etc.
• Approvals for work permit.
• Assists in organization of tenders, evaluation, selection and appointment of contractors for various building and facilities maintenance services.
• Liaises with contractors in maintenance program for building, electrical &mechanical systems including lifts maintenance, landscaping, building interior & exterior, safety & fire alarm and firefighting system, pest control, housekeeping, HVAC management and related matters.
• Reviews, assesses and recommends repairs and replacement works for building, mechanical and electrical systems.
• Troubleshooting of minor technical facility problems.
• Supervises carrying out of approved additions and alterations works to the building.
• Raising Purchase Requisitions and receivables through ERP/Oracle application
• Draft, revise and review documentations relevant to the department such as but not limited to; scope of work, as-built drawings, contracts, bill of quantities, policies and procedures, etc.
• Review and recommend budget allocation for the department as well as initiate and implement cost control measures.
• Coordinate intra-department issues and requirements as well as coordination with the landlord for matters related to maintenance of the building.
• Any other task assigned by General Services Manager and General Services Director
Working as part of a team directly reporting to General Services Lead. Our main role as operator of the Qatargas Head Office in Doha, we look after the maintenance of the facilities through strict compliance with safety legislations by diligently following reactive and preventative maintenance schedule and closely coordinating with the contractors and service providers. I am responsible for organizing internally between end user, security, contracting companies and other relevant entities with regards to schedule, scope of work, making sure job is completed satisfactorily and most importantly complying with Qatargas strict safety culture. Proactively inspecting the premises for potential hazards, conduct investigation, recommend solutions and or improvements.
Serves as the focal point of the school between Al Khor Community Administration, maintenance, contractors, security, housekeeping, and landscaping with regards to goods and services provided to the schools.
Manage subcontractors and infrastructure. Lead a small team responsible for security and maintenance of the whole site as well as ensuring compliance with all current legislation relating to the site safety and management.
Interface with all sections of operation division to ensure all equipment is operating properly and that there are no disruptions of service, supervises daily operations of maintenance.
Manage routine maintenance and repair of buildings and equipment as necessary to address normal wear and tear.
Spearhead all building-related vendor management and procurement activities. Provide technical assistance and oversight for small projects.
Initiate urgent maintenance of schools facilities, keeping them in a log and hasten for immediate action especially security, health and safety related issues.
Preparing routine maintenance and decoration programs for work to be carried out during school holiday periods.
Coordinates between contractors, maintenance, and end-users with regards to materials, specifications, timing and other details for a smooth workflow and ensuring work is carried out accordingly and satisfactorily before signing them off.
Proactively inspecting school campus buildings and grounds on a regular basis and initiating requests for preventative maintenance.
Safekeeping and updating school as-built drawings and floor plans.
Safekeeping, monitoring and issuance of school keys.
Liaise with the contractor providing service and supplies for photocopiers and fax machines.
Allocate and transfer telephone lines for admin staff moving offices.
Assisting on inventory and disposal of school property and assets.
Advising cleaning staff regarding school requirements for cleaning and furniture and equipment placement.
