GOAL Syria:
- Developing a Job Profile platform across all offices;
- Setting workforce plans and lead the workforce meetings with Senior Management to identify and
ensure maximum optimization of the organization’s workforce;
- Lead the Job evaluation and classification of new and existing positions, analyzing the salary scale
and identify gaps and recommend changes across all offices;
- Acted Head of HR for the year 2021 managing the HR department in Amman (Social Security,
Payroll, Tax, contracts, training, HR administration); Stay abreast on all employee-related legislative
and regulatory changes and/or developments and ensure changes to rules and regulations are
restructured with HR systems, policies, articles, and practices;
- Train HR employees on Recruitment systems in use, recruitment best practices and GOAL
recruitment policies and processes across all offices;
- Worked closely with the Social inclusion and Gender advisor on the development of strategic and
implementation plans related to Gender and inclusion. Embedded policies and process in HR and
Recruitment supporting women and focusing on gender inclusion and diversity;
- Developed the Recruitment Manual and SOP
- Refined and developed other policies supporting the HD of HR;
- Produced several Recruitment Awareness sessions, conducted recruitment capacity building sessions
for HR Managers and department Managers;
- Refined and developed all HR and recruitment related forms and templates for Jordan and Syria
offices,
- Reviewed and managed the Recruitment, onboarding and offboarding processes;
WFP Yemen:
- Developed an onboarding digital platform tool for the use of nationals and international new
employees;
- Participated in the project of establishing Gender Balance in Recruitment, creating strategies to attract
Yemeni females to apply for WFP positions;
- Lead and established an HR Database;
- Participated in the workforce plan and recruitment strategy to employ more than 600 positions in 6
months; participated in creating SOPs for recruitment;
UNRWA HQ
- Lead the project of restructuring the Provident Fund Section under Finance Department; which
included Job analysis, Job evaluation, OD and classification of the positions under this department
across all offices;
- Lead the project of creating generic job profiles for more than 20 job descriptions, job evaluation,
analysis and classification;
- Participated in establishing a global workforce plan for 5 offices across the middle east;
IOM Iraq
- HR Focal point for more than 600 employees; trained HR employees in Iraq on IOM HR policies and
systems (SAP PRISM) (internal databases) and others
- Managed downsizing and offboarding process for 96 employees with a time frame of one month,
which included workforce planning, creating selection criteria, and leading the implementation;
- HR focal point and reference for staff and managers, organized staff training on career Management
and Development.

• Analyse and interpret a variety of data on staff recruitment and selection, contractual conditions, entitlements, performance
and training requirements, workforce, etc., and provide advice and recommendations to managers along with comprehensive
analysis and reports for informative decision-making;
• Oversee and support the delivery of on boarding activities for new staff joining WFP, to ensure that relevant processes are
followed and the conditions of terms of service are explained and understood;
• Lead mass recruitment projects from end to end using recruitment platforms, such as Mocha, Sonru and WFP e-recruitment
system;
• Manage the recruitment database, tracker, systems and platforms used;
• Manage the recruitment cycle from start to end of onboarding across Yemen and Amman offices;
• Analyze the strategic workforce plan with close coordination with department heads and hiring managers and provide
recommendations, set deadlines and ensure filling vacancies in a timely manner;
• Provide solutions to recruitment challenges across all offices; provide guidance and advise to hiring managers on unique
positions and the best practices to attract a highly qualified pool of candidates;
• Train other HR staff and recruiters on WFP polices and SOPs related to recruitment, across Yemen and Jordan;
• Monitor and evaluate recruitment processes, ensure adherence to the best practices and to the SOPs, policies in hand, report
any misconduct or breach of such policies;
• Manage investigations, disciplinary and grievance cases. Review them and coordinate for meetings or refer them to the
department responsible, ensuring fair procedure and compliance with the relevant polices and bylaws;
• Provide a full range of HR management assistance and activities including follow-up actions, resolution of issues and
unforeseen situations, to ensure consistency and quality of HR services delivered to clients;
• Lead the work of other HR staff, and support their learning and development, to ensure staff possess up-to-date knowledge
of HR systems and procedures required to perform their duties and subsequently can contribute to the provision of effective
HR services;
• Regularly monitor, oversee and adapt existing HR procedures and collaborate with a wide range of HR stakeholders across
the organisation to identify, assess and meet evolving HR support needs;
• Analyse and respond to a variety of complex internal and external queries, to ensure that clients are well-informed and that
HR team activities are aligned with broader WFP objectives;
• Monitor HR management systems to ensure accuracy of HR data and compliance with the established deadlines;
• Prepare HR related analysis and reports for Higher Management whenever needed;
