This is a senior manager role reporting to the Executive Vice President of Hemaia Group for Banking Projects and Operations. I managed professional/managed services department comprising of 13 project coordinators, infrastructure specialists, business analysts, and system integrators. I assisted business executives in pre-sales
Presentations, proof of concept projects, costing, estimations, planning, technical responses to bids, and defending our proposal in front of architectural committees and consultants from customers. I own the processes and planning for the department for
Projects and operations; including post-sales support and training.
I reported directly to the General Manager for technology products related to Insurance Payments Switching for Healthcare sector.
I worked closely with the business unit and managed a team of System Analysts, Software Engineers, and Field Support to Analyze requirements, design, develop, test, and pilot the systems to commissioning.
Additionally I managed the field support for these releases. This role required IT, Line, Process, Operations, Customer Care, and Project Management skills.
During this period I worked for various establishments as a consulting software specialist for development of decision support, business intelligence, and Payment Systems specially Banking Point of Sales terminals.
Technology Consultant for platform specific software solutions. I specialize in banking support and payment applications and terminals.
I gathered business requirements for IT and provided coordination for PMO, Sales, Marketing, and IT units.
I analyzed problems, identified and defined the requirements, designed and proposed solutions, identified right vendors, tools and resources, and then mentored the development.
Technically managed a team of engineers to conceive, design, and develop (Mostly hybrid) software solutions for ATM, POS, and Kiosks. I write analysis, design, and project proposal specifications. I also manage contact with ABANA Products Marketing for feedback, and report directly to the Director, ABANA Services & Support Department.
Design, develop, and deploy Windows 2K/XP Desktop applications, Oracle/SQL Server database applications, Windows services, POS applications, ATM applications.
Responsible for implementation of funded computing software research, propose new research supervised by experienced Professors, write research papers, write technical manuals, design course materials for under graduate studies, and write proposals for research funds.
Responsible for designing, developing, and testing software to develop brokerage/equity management applications for Windows and Solaris.
Designed the Communications Channel (TCP/IP and RS232) module of the application for NYSE/NASDAQ using Design Patterns and UML. Then I developed it using Win32 APIs on VC++. The application was then ported to Solaris/SPARC platform.
