My responsible as Deputy Purchasing Manager isorganising and maintaining a central facility for the purchase of all goods, services and contracts on a best price / best quality basis.
Job Summary
•Responsible for ensuring products appear in the right store at the right time and in the right quantities.
•This involves working closely with the buying teams to accurately forecast trends, plan stock levels and monitor Performance.
•While the buyer selects the fashion lines, I decide how much money it should to be spent, how many fashion lines should be bought, and in what quantities.
•Controlling the purchase and supply of all procured items & services.
•Negotiating price and terms of products and formulating contracts with suppliers.
•Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies.
•Review purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy.
•Maintaining records of supplier contracts, agreements, goods ordered received.
•Prepare reports regarding market conditions and merchandise costs and controlling budgets.
•Getting logistics info & dates of Delivery.
•Controlling stock levels based on forecasts for the season.
•In my spare time I act as mystery shopper to check on our staff the way they present our products and make sure they are adhering to the company standers of customer service.
