• Lead start-up project in GCC for installation new line and securing the raw and packaging material for the startup. Source, evaluate and qualify new suppliers and materials that help the startup on time.
• Accountable for a total spend of $15 million which include portfolio for Marketing, Professional Services and IT. Achieved an actual saving of $1.8 million verses a $1 million target in 2015.
• Responsible for the packaging sourcing for the flexible packaging with total spend of $2 million. Achieved an actual saving of $ 300K in 2015.
• Lead and actively supported cost improvement programs, including supplier resources, new material innovations, product specification changes and LEAN initiatives designed to provide maximum value to the Business Sectors. Coordinate the entry of all EMEA cost reduction programs in FORCE tracking data base.
• Support the Marketing Global Category Leaders in the implementation of global category strategies, maintaining the highest standards of regional category strategies and project pipelines that deliver game changing value to the regions.
Promoted for the 3rd time from Buyer to Strategic Sourcing Buyer and assigned the responsibility of buying all the packaging material for Bahrain and Saudi plants with total spent of USD 60 Million per year for Bahrain Plant and USD 15 Million per year for Saudi
Responsible of buying Glass, Plastic Containers, Caps, Flexibles, Papers and Aluminum Cans.
• Responsible of sourcing and ensuring a cost effective and timely flow of indirect materials, equipment, and services which support all Kraft Foods Bahrain plant requirements.
• Responsible of sourcing, reviewing and signing the contracts of all the professional services such as Cleaning, Catering, Security, Laundry and Manpower contracts
• Lead sourcing all the Capex projects for Bahrain Plant for Tang and Cheese production lines.
• Responsible of procuring the best logistic service provider in order to ensure a cost effective and timely flow of all the materials.
• Writes and distributes complex and technical bid invitations or requests for proposals; receives and analyzes bids, quotes, proposals, and awards the contract
