Main key responsibilities:-
• Planning & designing all tailored applications.
• Managing projects as needed with emphasis on the optimum allocation of resources.
• Conducting meetings with the Company managers to determine applications' requirements based on the approved projects and their priorities as well as planning any changes after securing the IT steering committee's approval.
• Performing regular evaluations for the performance of applications and coordinating with the technical support department to ensure applications' efficiency.
• Conducting regular evaluation of the procedures related to existing systems and recommending developments in procedures to match the needs in implementation of new systems.
• Solving all related problems to applications development.
• Manage and lead the team members and following up their work.
• Manage the vendors during the projects to make sure that all the required points within the project scope delivered properly.
• Providing technical information required in the preparation of annual budget figures for the Applications Development, including needs for upgrading hardware and software and resources needed to ensure timely response to needs of user departments.
• Suggesting new procedures related to all automated systems, ensuring maximum information provision, and coaching to key employees.
• Presenting monthly and quarterly status reports on progress against targets.
• Monitoring the processes of analysis, design, development, testing, customization and implementation required to create a new application system or about software purchased from outside vendors.
• Reviewing and analyzing existing application systems to ensure their efficiency and effectiveness.
• Reviewing requests for systems' changes to meet business needs.
• Reviewing the deliverables of all applications required for special projects and ensuring they meet needed quality standards.
• Ensuring the handling and resolving of any applications problems, failures and errors with maximum user satisfaction.
• Co-ordinate with business departments for any request or business need.
• Following up issues that sent from users and solving it by team or by vendor support based on SLA.
• Working as member in PMO of Tokio Marine Egypt (TMGT) and reporting to Tokio Marine Middle East (TMME).
• Monitor and enhance Application servers.
