Purpose: Maintains the quality system continuous improvement program through the implementation and maintenance of quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Maintains and updates the Internal Audit quality management process, including procedure enhancements, revision changes, and overall process control;
• Assists all Internal Audit Teams in documenting processes, work instructions, flow charts and related paperwork;
• Assists in the analysis of Internal Audit Department Plan and work progress;
• Collect and compile statistical quality data;
• Develop, recommend and monitor corrective and preventive actions;
• Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities
• Ensure that all audit records and documentation are accurate and in compliance with applicable regulations;
• Coordinates between Overseas Audit Departments and Head office Internal Audit Group;
• Collect auditees’ feedback to identify quality and/or process issues;
• Maintains the internal audit program which shall include establishing and maintaining audit standards per regulatory and Bank requirements;
• Ensures all inspection and review findings are followed up to completion;
• Assembles and maintains department quality reports for management review (Field Event Reports, Internal Incident Reports, Audit Reports, etc.), to include track and trend data analysis;
• Participates and facilitates continuous quality improvement initiatives;
• Ensure effective utilization of resources and improve work practices.
• Analyses data and study reports to enable Management to take appropriate action & decisions.
• Carry out background research about subjects that the Group Head is dealing with and present findings in a professional manner.
• Monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of the department.
• Tracking the Department’s work progress as part of KPIs monitoring, and reporting on the overall status while giving recommendations for enhanced utilization of resources.
• Responsible for the monthly progress report for the department and the Overseas Branches.
• Responsible for the monthly Peer Review between the Department Management to enhance the work quality of the department.
• Develops and circulates a “Satisfaction Survey” for each section in the department to obtain feedback from Auditees. Analyses analysis a results and formulate a plan to improve processes and procedures.
• Responsible for all the department Audit files (Audit Logs and KPIs Check list).
• Managing relationships with external Auditors and coordinate with them to facilitate their work in the department.
• Receives feedback reports from External Auditors and work on implementing the recommendations along with the Chief Internal Auditor.
• Completes a broad variety of administrative tasks for the chief including: managing an extremely active calendar of appointments; completing expense reports; composing and preparing
confidential correspondence; arranging complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas;
• Screens all incoming correspondence to the Group Head to ensure taking appropriate action on time;
• Communicates directly, and on behalf of the chief, with Board members, clients, staff, Oversees Locations and others, on matters related to chief’s programmatic initiatives;
• Reestablishes priorities based on changing circumstances;
• Overcomes unexpected obstacles and reviews impact on job requirements;
• Establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers and gains their respect and trust;
• Can present technical information accurately;
• Knows what the team is trying to achieve and knows the goals and objectives;
• Researches, prioritizes, and follows up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the chief, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature. Determines appropriate course of action,
referral, or response;
• Prepares different circulars and correspondence in English & Arabic.
