As PMC Project Manager/Senior Resident Engineer for J.V. Louis Berger & Egis Rail. Management of the construction of the Major Stations project (Education City Major station) for Qatar Rail. Covered surface over 30.000m2 Responsibilities: Plan, schedule and provide work direction as required in preparation of designs processes, reports, correspondence & related data; and assure the efficiency, adequacy & conformance to overall objectives of complex projects and works
Enforce safety & quality norms, and ensure optimum utilization of resources to maximize productivity
Manage Detail Engineering Designs, Materials & Equipment Lists, Issue for Construction (IFC) drawings, Request for Clarification (RFC), Technical Queries (TQ), Design changes Proposal (DCP), Change Orders, etc.
Liaise and coordinate with client, contractor, and other project participants for resolution of all design & execution issues
Review Project Opportunity & Risk Register, recommend action plans and bring critical issues to the notice of client
Conduct critical path analysis on the updated schedule and advice for recovery measures in case of slippages
Oversee and control project and construction management of all civil, structural, finishing and MEP scope of work
Support project's stakeholder's in obtaining all required permits and NOC’s from concerned authorities
Keep client updated on all issues that are likely to impact project milestones
Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project
Review the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the project standards
Evaluate the outcomes of the project as established during the planning phase, and assist in project closing activities
Review project close - out document and ensure completed packages are handed over by contractor as per handover protocol
Attend site meetings with Client, muti-disciplinary contractors for co-ordination and execution of projects

Construction of Mixed Use Commercial Building (Mall/Offices)). Covered surface more than 250.000 m2 with two level underground car parking (surface 80.000 m2, more than 1, 000 vehicles), retail and public areas, cinemas, restaurants, offices etc
Responsibilities: Implement all drawings, change requests, for finishing works, and execute approved changes
Review subcontractor’s work progress against contractual commitments, and certify progress payments
Assist in vendor and material selection, procurement process, and monitor consumption of materials
Review Site stock and consumption data and advice for optimization of stock
Analyze project documents like MES, material reconciliation report, status of receivables etc. and advice for corrective actions
Manage relationships with Customer, Consultant, and other Stakeholder Management
Monitor progress of project, attend progress meeting with client’s representative
Enforce Quality Policy of the company, Project HSE Management Plan, and adhere to legal & statutory requirements
Initiate and undertake actions to prevent the occurrence of construction non-conformity

Completion of the complex of buildings for Mathematics and Computer Depts., the Administration and the University Technical Services with a total area of over 25, 000 m2 with laboratories, student meeting areas, offices, classrooms, lecture theatres fully equipped with audio visual equipment, libraries, coffee shops and the Surrounding Area of the buildings (over 100.000 m2). Responsibilities: Oversee planning, resourcing, execution and supervision of the projects structural. MEP and finishing scope of works
Provide technical support to all internal divisions like estimation, design and the procurement for the smooth progress of the work
Prepare & review program of works and evaluate weekly job status by conducting weekly progress meeting
Update the Planning Department for periodical invoicing to maintain cash flow
Document QA/QC reports for all projects in line with company policy and site requirement
Coordinate with authorities, consultant, client, sub-contractors and suppliers
Organize & conduct weekly meeting with team engineers, follow up the progress in every project, and resolve bottlenecks
Administer the implementation of HSE with all the Engineers, Supervisors, Foremen, Site In-charges and Labors.
Responsible for preparing, checking and submitting materials & drawings and getting the same approved from the client.
Accountable for ordering the materials through procurement and making sure their delivery as per schedule
Oversee the work progress at site, and enhance construction productivity by optimizing usage of resources, materials & plants
Manage the quality of work by conducting regular inspection and by following the work procedure and MOS.
Monitor projects from design through completion, and ensure defined specifications and standards are strictly adhered to
Carry out all activities in accordance with the project quality plan, inspection and testing plans and contract documents such as specifications, design drawings, and shop drawings
Ensure Subcontractors carry out works as per contract obligations, and within stipulated time frame
Attend the internal review meeting to appraise the progress and bottlenecks, if any, in the project’s execution program
Monitor and control all activities of personnel including sub contractors at sites in line with the project program & schedule
Follow up the progress of the work, and ensure that the construction works meet best quality standards and performance
Engage QS team in project evaluation & invoicing and verify subcontractor’s / vendors’ invoices

Construction of the Conventional and Cultural Center of Iraklion consisting of: Multifanctional Main Hall, Concert Hall and Lecture Hall, areas for exhibitions, Executive Offices, VIP areas, interview areas, control-room, safety areas, restaurant - café, Shops, 4 Level Undergound Parking, workshops etc. Responsibilities: Prepare/check/approve all the Tender documents according to the regulations and rules of the Greek State and the E.U., including all the relative documents of the General and Special Specifications of the project.
Review & approve structural calculations and drawings and coordinate them with architectural and MEP drawings. Check and approve geological data and results and the dewatering proposals.
Check and approve all structural Quantities Estimations and issue the final BOQ of the project (architectural and structural works).
Review and approve shop drawings for excavation, retaining walls, waterproofing and structural works of the project, and supervise excution of the works.
Check and approve all Interim Payment Certificates for the Contractor, including necessary changes and variations.
Evaluate work progress against time schedule and report status to the Director.
Monitor compliance of Safety Rules, and monitor quality of the concrete and the rebar incorporated to the project.

Complete construction of the building of the Chemistry Department (area 12, 768 m2, with laboratories, student meeting areas, offices, classrooms, lecture theatres fully equipped with audio visual equipment, library, coffee area and the and the Surrounding Area of the building ) and the bearing construction of reinforced concrete of the buildings of Mathematic Department, the Computers Department, the of Administration building and the building of the University Technical Services with a total area of over 25, 000 m2
Responsibilities: Managing all structural, EMP and finishing works for the completion of four main buildings of the campus. Implementation of drawings, change requests. Implementation of approved changes. Subcontractor appraisal, work monitoring and issuing bill certifications etc. Supplier and Material selection, procurement, monitor consumption etc. Forecast for works, approved drawings, expenses, materials. Issuing of Reports for production on site. Monitor performance of individuals and teams, measurements against project's baselines. Take corrective actions. Promote and establish Safety. Quality Control and Audits.
