• Responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating detailed phases of architectural works in an architectural group.
• Plans, schedules and provides work direction as required for preparation of designs, processes, reports, correspondence and related data and assures the efficiency, adequacy and conformance to overall objectives of all phases of very complex engineering problems.
• Support the development and formulates the basis for engineering studies by analyzing and evaluating all data pertinent to problems. Evaluates data as to scope, effect on existing installations, economic value, long-range planning and budgetary considerations.
• Initiates detailed work outline and makes decision as to basic approaches, processes and/or equipment.
• Discusses, coordinates and resolves problems with the design teams.
• Checks that reports are written according to established methods of good report presentation.
• Takes recommendations for further study or report changes.
• Meet with prospective clients or architects to discuss design requirements for a proposed project.
• Consult with people about the design of their environment. Helps and advises the client’s on the practicality and viability of their projects.
• Preparing and presenting design proposals to the client. Producing detailed drawings from which costing are made.
• Discusses material finishes with client. Consult and coordinates with other trade/discipline in relation to proposed project.
• Prepare specification documents.
• Prepare bill of quantities, materials take-off and scope of works.
• Prepare perspective rendering (pen & Ink).
• Print and Issue complete drawing package to client.
• Provide technical advice and assistance to client in preparing necessary documents and other related clearances from government agencies for securing building permit for construction

• Prepares suggestion and recommendations pertaining to equipment, suppliers and manufacturers in a moderate degree of complexity.
• Decides on some adaptable solutions to resolve conflicting design requirements, options for material replacements that are not available and solves differences in coordination requirements.
• Reviews, checks and evaluates designs, drawings and data by subordinate architects or suppliers
• Provides assistance to analyze architectural design problems, giving and or suggesting best solutions for a specific work or design.
• Receives technical and administrative supervision from the Lead Architect.
• Provides technical directions to draftsmen and less experienced architects as directed by the Lead Architect
• Independently acts on tasks with instructions as to the general results expected.

• Closely monitor site activities to ensure quality of work is in compliance with contract requirements and in good construction practice, only approved materials are used, compliance with shop drawings, and report to Resident Engineer/Lead Architect.
• Issue Site Instruction through the Architect in-charge guidance in their respective are of responsibility.
• Ensure that any activity offered for inspection has the latest approved shop drawing, method statement (MS), Quality Control Procedure (QCP) and Inspection & Test Plan (ITP).
• Carry out all planned site inspections as per the intervention points marked in the relevant Inspection Request.
• All site inspection shall be carried out via an official Inspection request (IR) submitted by the CONTRACTOR through the proper channels.
• Make sure that all materials used comply with the approved Material Approval Request (MAR).
• Make sure that the CONTRACTOR's personnel are using the latest edition of the approved shop drawings, MS, QCP and ITP as per the project master index.
• Review and reply on Site Clarification Request (SCR) issued by the Contractor, though the proper review and approval of the LEAD Architect.
• Conduct Mock-up inspections of the relevant package or scope of work.
• Provide clarification about the design and specifications by responding to RFI's (Request For Information)
• Participate in evaluating and designing changes
• Conduct site inspect work
• Certify the work complete for a contractor's progress billing.
• Review shop drawings submitted by the different trades like steel work, mill work and the like.
• Reviews drawings to make sure they are faithful to their design
• Reviews and approve mock-ups and samples.
