Duties and Main responsibilities as a DB2 specialist and head of DB2 team:
Design, implementation, configuration, administration, monitoring, maintenance database systems/ planning for Backup and recovery strategies, executing utilities such as Reorg indexes, Reorg and Runstats tables/ Implementation and maintenance HADR (High Availability Disaster and Recovery)/ Tuning performance and SQL queries/ Automating execution of utilities such as Reorg and Rebuild indexes on all databases on z/OS using REXX scripting language/ Working as System Engineer on z/OS 1.13 for ISMF (Interactive Storage Management Facility), HCD (Hardware Configuration Definition), and RACF (Resource Access Control Facility)/ Developed special scripts to automate daily routine processes by using Bash and PHP/ Assist in the designing of table structures and relationships/ Implemented secure database servers by hardening Linux servers and activating auditing on both operating system level and database level/ Teaching application developers and designers most important concepts and tips of database to achieve best performance in DB2 database.
projects: Internet Banking Service and Online Card Services of National Bank of Iran as OLTP environment, Consolidated billing project as a OLAP environment and many other small databases on DB2 LUW v10.5/ Central Accounting and General Ledger projects of mentioned bank on DB2 z/OS v10.1
Duties and Responsibilites as same as Senior DBA.
Project: Payment gateway of Mellat bank on DB2 LUW v9.7, v10.5 and DB2 z/OS v9.1 with more than 3000 TPS and some other small databases that are related to our projects/ PHP Developing for some web applications for monitoring, checking, saving some histories and etc. without IBM tools / Java Developing for creating some stress test application.
