Performing diverse ranges of roles within different aspects of both execution and business development to secure and develop the security of OT networks. Business Development Roles:
• Discovering new markets, technologies, solutions, and businesses to identify opportunities and build professional partnerships.
• performing pre-sales activities to support Sales, marketing, and tendering teams with techno-commercials (RFPs & RFQs).
• Conducting PoCs to integrate new solutions in order to develop the security of OT systems. Design Roles:
• Creating base and detailed OT cybersecurity network designs for OT systems.
• Coordinating with both procurement and PMO teams to meet the expected project delivery date.
• Preparing procedures and checklists to ensure a smooth execution during Pre-FAT, FAT, and SAT.
• Preparing Risk Assessment checklists and developing the on site experience. Engineering Roles:
• Configuring layer 2 switches.
• Network segmentation by configuring next-generation Firewalls to meet the Purdue model.
• Configuring Active Directories and DNS servers on the authentication servers to maintain an optimal privilege level for the corresponding OT systems assets.
• Intrusion Detection & Vulnerability Assessment.
• preparing hardening procedures and best practices for Firewalls, authentication servers, switches, ...etc.
Matching my interest in Power Systems and Networking Protocols those used under IT & OT networks, as well as such as OSI, TCP/IP, MODBUS & DNP3 and IEC-61850 standard to apply them among the following duties with SEP automation team:
• Checking all SAS & PSA control panels based on SEP & Schneider standardizations as per project for ARAMCO & National Grid (NG) and inspect the termination of their components including power & signaling connections, LAN connection, serial connection as well as Fiber Optic connection.
• Developing MODBUS & IEC61850 I/O signals and test them with the DCS & switchgear vendors such as YOKOGAWA & Al-FANAR.
• Setting network name and IP Address as well as configuring Database & upload them for Schneider IEDs,
• Configuring Parallel Redundancy Protocol, IP Address, RSTP and ID name for Hirschman and Siemens Ethernet switches.
• Installing the OS for SEL-3355 Servers and Operator Automation System using different RAID terminologies.
Leaded successfully the final project design team to study the power quality due to solar photovoltaic DG in distribution networks and analysis it using ETAP software program Elective Courses: 1- Artificial Intelligence 2- Energy Conservation 3- Economic Operation of Power System 4- Transmit and Distribute Electrical Power via HVDC 5- High Voltage Engineering
