1. Managing all business decisions for the whole operational (Productions and Projects) aspects.
2. Approving and providing the decision making for the current and new operations and/or systems that are planned to be applied in the company.
3. Continuously resolving and improving all operations and/or systems bottle necks for enhancing the work environment.
4. Reporting and recommending to the plant director all the required plans and actions for the current and new operations and/or systems.
1. Approving all new design and directing the production department to proceed for the production.
2. Managing all agreed line operations and maintenance activities and ensure the validity of their applications.
3. Auditing the materials consumptions, utilizations, and conduct, the necessary actions to ensure the KPI’s targets versus achievements through formulating CAT (Corrective Actions Team).
4. Managing both created internal & external (export) productions programs and verifying all related comprehensive plans that include the time schedule, targets, BOM (Bill Of Materials) requirements & specify exactly the dead line for both lines.
5. Validating the required appropriate action plan after the continuous evaluation of the bottleneck areas in the associated production line (factory) in terms of efficiency (speed) which in turn will affect the quality of the cans and assess all the alternatives that will boost the productivity (efficiency). On the other hand, looking for these alternatives in terms of spoilage and scrap reductions.
6. Evaluating and measuring the scrap versus spoilage in a daily, monthly and yearly basis then compare the entire positive results with the previous years. Finally, supporting all the new actions that had been done to be considered as SOP'S (Standard Operating Procedure's).
7. Approving all periodic (preventive) maintenance programs items for all machines in the associated plant after communicating with all engineering and maintenance departments' members then feedback to the engineering team the importance of focusing on a prescribed topic in order to exceed the company expectations with respect to spoilage minimization and efficiency maximization.
8. Integrating with all departments for trials of a new supplier or a new material provided no tolerances for the quality aspects as the main criteria.
9. Establishing new targets of K.P.I’s (Key Performance Indicator’s) for the whole processes in terms of the materials reductions programs by directing the logistic department to specify the communications criteria to all related suppliers & controls plans in order to reduce the cost/1000 cans & increase the profits.
10. Managing all customer complaints and issuing the proposed actions to prevent the occurrence in future.
11. Recruiting new people with HR team as per the approved organizational structure.
12. Coordinating with logistics department with regards to the demand in terms of materials and production volume requirements planning.
1. Preparing the budgets for all projects.
2. Monitoring the projects teams execution for the on-going implementations of projects.
3. Ensuring all projects are executed as per safety standards and as per the regulations.
4. Approving the closures for projects and issuing the lessons learned for implemented projects.
5. Evaluating ROI for new projects for the justification to top management.
6. Coordinating with procurement teams the preferable options among all obtained quotes for the selection and approving the suppliers and contractors.
1. Reporting all departments required projects as per the PMI layouts indicating all related processes stages.
2. Issuing all RFQ’s (Request For Quotation) for the approved projects as per the allocated budget in AOP (Annual Operating Plan).
3. Evaluating all suppliers obtained proposals in terms of projects key aspects (Quality, scope, time and money) versus the financial paybacks particularly the ROI (Return On Investment) for every project.
4. dvising to the purchasing department the projects priorities depending on the projects CPM (Critical Path Method) activities that might delay any project to the projected and planned completion period.
5. Recommending to the purchasing department to switch dedicated projects into turn-key projects in case there are limited internal resources or will be higher incurred costs out of the 5M’s till time limitation as per 6M’s.
1. Handling & Monitoring of all production line facilities and machineries in terms of production planning, operational runs and the implementations of plants shutdown procedures.
2. Directing the related aspects of all production lines with respect to the lean manufacturing aspects (Examples: TPM (Total Preventive Maintenance, Quick Changeover, Batch Reduction, Standardized Work, 5S System, VSM (Visual Management System), Plant Layout and finally Quality at Source) and directing all departments to conduct actions upon presenting the importance of every concept.
3. Improved and reviewed CPS (Customer Product Specifications) through adapting the related Lean Manufacturing techniques to several machines relying on their inputs and outputs specifications and attributes.
4. Communicating all production lines facilities and machineries in terms of the maintenance preparations and the executions with the engineering team.
5. Encouraging the personnel to use their initiatives to improve any aspect of any operation to issue a GIN (Good Idea Note) for the documentation system.
6. Monitoring and reviewing the stock reports.
7. Handling the main team decision maker for directing all departments (Engineering, production, supply chain and quality) of all productions lines for the best utilization of the available resources in terms of consumption reduction, efficiency improvement and spoilage minimization.
8. Coordinating all the activities and tasks that should be done continuously to improve the processes' operations prior to any scheduled or breakdown stoppage (Proactive Planning).
9. Planning and scheduling the manning vacations and working hours and in accordance to the workloads.
10. Recording the safety incidents and accidents and issuing the corrective and preventive proposed actions.
