• Deal with Job orders and letters and Co-ordination between maintenance departments.
• Specify Problems causes and specify the best way to solve it with corresponding maintenance section.
• Give the needed support to other Engineering departments inside the city, review BOQ and Specs for new projects.
• Make snag list at the end of projects before transfer to maintenance department.
• Make and review the maintenance schedule for all mechanical systems based on standards, manuals and instructions of suppliers.
• Review the contractors work to assure that work done correctly.
• Make reports about the work done.
• Prepare Specifications required for Replacement & renewing mechanical equipment parts and systems.
• Coordination with various engineering departments for smooth functioning of the equipment by feedback and suggestions from them.
• The equipment includes Generators, Pumps, submersible pumps, Plumbing system, Firefighting system, Elevators, Air-conditioning and Ventilation.
• Deal with all mechanical equipment related to work.
• Guide/lead the mechanical maintenance team and implementing the best strategy for maintenance of Hospital include:
- Troubleshoots mechanical equipment problems to determine their cause and recommends options for eliminating such problems.
- Predictive maintenance of equipment and corrective actions to avoid breakdown.
- Making maintenance schedule and check different systems on a pre-established schedule and perform repairs and inspections on a variety of building equipment.
• The equipment includes Boilers, Air-Conditioning (Chilled water system & split units), refrigeration, Pumps, Generators, Compressors, Heating Elements, Ventilation, Firefighting system, Plumbing works, Electric Lifts (Elevators), Medical gases system and Central sterilization units.
