Tasks and Responsibilities of Current position (Water plants Section Head):-

1- Responsible for managing and supervising the operation, repair and maintenance of the water treatment plants, the water distillation plants and related equipment.
2- Ensure an adequate supply of water for production consumption.
3- Planning and implementing maintenance and operation activities designed to provide water for pharmaceutical use for the production plants.
4- Trains, supervises and disciplines employees performing the duties of operation, maintenance and repair of water treatment and distillation systems.
5- Supervises the control and use of, and assumes responsibility for all materials, supplies and equipment used in the operation, maintenance, and repair of water systems.
6- Maintaining a continuing check on the proper and efficient operation of the plant, which includes raw water supply and pumping, treatment, finished water pumping and distribution storage.
7- Maintains detailed records and logs regarding the operation and maintenance of the water treatment plant.
8- Issue Protocols, Reports, S.O.Ps and instructions documents of Work.
9- Working with and maintaining adequate quantities of treatment chemicals, repair parts, and various supplies.
10- Communication with the purchasing department for requisition of the needed supplies for the department.
11- Insures that all regulatory requirements are met, documented and submitted to the appropriate regulatory agencies.
12- Establish a preventative maintenance program.
13- Responsible for following up qualification and calibration schedule of all plants instruments and revise their results reports and certificates.
14- Oversees the safety of assigned maintenance workers and equipment operators by instructing individuals in proper safety procedures and monitoring work in progress.
15- Providing input in the hiring and disciplining of employees, as approved by the Director of Utilities.
16- Responding to emergency situations.
17- Maintaining operations during planned and emergency repairs.
18- Responsible for the periodic review of the qualification status of the water systems.
19- Assigning shifts, work weeks, holiday coverage, etc.
20- Communicate with the training department to arrange training programs for personnel
21- Preparing annual performance evaluations of water engineers and operators.
22- Reporting to projects, utilities & workshops general manager.
23- Assisting in the planning and scheduling of treatment plants and prepares cost estimates for materials and labor.
24- Analyzes annual operating costs and makes recommendations for department budget.







Previous Experience:-

1- Microbiological analysis for Non sterile products, Raw Materials, Packaging Materials and Sterile products.
(Microbial limit Testing, Sterility Testing and antibiotic Assay Testing)
2- Microbiological and Chemical analysis for Water (PW & WFI)
3- Antimicrobial Effectiveness Testing.
4- Responsible for Standard Strains of Microorganisms (Handling & Culturing).
5- Responsible for handling of In house Reference Standards used in Chemical analysis lab.
6- Cleaning Validation for equipment in production area.
7- Responsible for Lab documentation:-
- SOPs (Participation in issue Microbiological lab. SOPs and chemical lab. SOPs).
- Validation protocols & Reports of:-
- Sterile area (Air, Surface, etc.)
- Lines (Filling &Washing machines) in sterile area.
- Autoclaves & Tunnels.
- Media Fill.
- Revise log books of Microbiology and Chemical laboratories.
8- Environmental control monitoring.
