• Reviewing supplier applications to determine whether suppliers meet company requirements for doing business with them (more than 40 suppliers).
• Monitoring supplier performance to ensure they meet quality standards and deadlines.
• Coordinating with other departments within the company regarding issues with suppliers.
• Conducting supplier facilities audits to ensure they meet safety and environmental standards.
•Research new product ideas and methods.
•Improve existing products and processes.
•Design new engineering products and processes.
•Craft models and drawings of products using CAD.
