• establishing work measurement programs and analysing work samples to develop standards for labour utilisation
• analysing workforce utilisation, facility layout, operational data and production schedules and costs to determine optimum worker and equipment efficiencies
• designing mechanical equipment, machines, components, products for manufacture, and plant and systems for construction
• developing specifications for manufacture, and determining materials, equipment, piping, material flows, capacities and layout of plant and systems
• organising and managing project labour and the delivery of materials, plant and equipment
• establishing standards and policies for installation, modification, quality control, testing, inspection and maintenance according to engineering principles and safety regulations
• inspecting plant to ensure optimum performance is maintained
• directing the maintenance of plant buildings and equipment, and coordinating the requirements for new designs, surveys and maintenance schedules
Specific task as follows;
1.Conducts Underwriters Laboratory Fire Pump Certification testing procedure.
2.Process purchase orders, contract review and ensure compliance to the proposal.
3.Maintain and develop new business opportunities in the area of responsibility.
4.Collect the market trend and competitors information to shape our selling strategy
5.Establish safety rules and regulations that shall later be implemented through the premises.
6.Maintaining the Pump Facility system through constant checkups and testing safety measures.
• Integrate all Drawings and technical documents under one Engineering Document Management System (EDMS).
• Manage all Drawings, Technical Document and vendor manual for easy search and retrieval as and when required.
• Enable all departments to access all technical information for CNC Lathe and Milling Machining Center.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:,
1. Establish/adopt strategy for electronic technical documents submissions (E-manual) to company by Machinists for all projects.
2. Establish and drive Plan Company Strategy for drawings and technical documents management system.
3. Integrate Engineering drawings, technical documents and record management data into EDMS.
4. Co-.ordinate to establish a unified Engineering data center in the Company.
5. Initiate engineering common-data polices in the company in co-ordination with other application's custodians.
6. Ensure that the numbering systems, document control procedures, Drawings Office Practice (DOP) and the EDMS model, address all the issues that guarantee the convergence of errors and consistency and quality of drawings and technical documents.
7. Plan all sub-team activities to make sure that they meet the business goals of the Company related to technical document & drawings management.
8. Co-ordinate with responsible parties in the Company to set-up a Corporate Document Management policy and/or System.
Modern State of the art facility accredited to ISO:2000 and comprises 6, 500m2
of Factory/warehousing space to manufacture, package, assemble and test a wide range of ITT Corporation extended portfolio of pumps as follows;
Goulds Pumps, Lowara, Vogel Pumpen, G&L, Red Jackets and Marlow Pumps.
-Prepare technical descriptions of pumps, parts, drive motors
and accessories.
-Prepare cost estimates for all technical requirements needed by
the sales group.
-Primary contact for all the distributors, supporting them by
reviewing the enquiry, making technical selections and preparing
quotes. -Analyze the existing pumping systems, develop and optimize
pumping system design through tools like Life Cycle Costs
-Job Summary:
Prepares and assists for the standard operating procedures of
the C.N.C.Lathe and Milling Machining section, implement
the schedules given by the Production Control Sections, machine
Check sheet preparation and Implementation, preventive maintenance
analysis and schedule preparation, ISO Quality Documentation
and Implementation.
General Duties and Responsibilities:
-Takes care of manufacturing C.N.C. Machinery, equipment maintenance:
-Repair and Replace Servomotor of TSUGAMI C.N.C. Series machines
-Checks the C.N.C. Machine Spindle Run-out
-Monthly Cleaning of Main Spindle Collet C.N.C. Machines
-Maintains th Geometry of C.N.C. machining Tools with regards to
C.N.C. Machines zero Positioning/Origin Point.
-Formulates C.N.C. Programs:
Uses standard G Codes;
Uses Standard M Codes;
-Prepares C.N.C. Programs based on Engineering drawings:
Uses Manual Tool Nose Radius Offset Formula in computation
of actual cutting points;
-Operates C.N.C. Machines:
Performs Tool Changing;
-Carbide Tools & 2 Flute Endmill Tools
-High Speed Stainless Tools
-Gold Drills.
-Performs C.N.C. Machine Cleaning:
-Conduct coolant draining and replace coolant filter
-Performs Machine Set-up of C.N.C. Machines
-Checks and Measure Precision parts produced by C.N.C. Machines:
-Conducts Tool Offset whenever possible or needed
-Performs Analytical functions design to improve product and

-Works hand in hand with the machinist/Engineer3 regarding Quality
control and Top 3 N.G.'s (No Good Parts Ratio);
-Reports to the Production Manager regarding the Tool Cost;
-Prepares Training Modules for C.N.C. machine Technicians;
-Promoted to GroupLeaderB/Engineer2 last April 2002 and hired as a
Machinist/Engineer3 on November 28 2000.
General Duties and Responsilities:
-Design Japan instrument clusters using NADAMS CAD software
-Perform Engineering Drawing Changes and Drafting.

Production targets in terms of volume.Works closely with the
Sub-Leaders and operators, Requires ability to handle, motivate
and Discipline people.Monitors operatorsChecksheets, attendance
punctuality, adherence to company policies and rules and regulations.
-Inititiates line improvement works regarding safety, working
condition, quality, productivity and cost reduction to ensure
production of high quality products at reasonable costs.
