• Assist Site team as per design for Installation and then testing & commissioning of ABB 380KV GIS, Hyundai 132KV GIS, 13.8KV SWGR. & 440V LV switchgear 506MVA Super Grid Transformers, 50/60 MVA Grid transformers, 120 & 40 MVAR shunt and line reactors. Capacitor BANK, Detuned Reactors, Relay and control panels. HV/ MV/LV cables.

• Responsible to follow Kahramaa Standards and safety requirements on Site.
• Operation & Maintenance of 04 Main 132KV Indoor GIS and 183 No’s of Medium voltage Distribution Substations in Hamad international airport Qatar
• Checking Substation drawings as per Project technical Specifications.
• Testing and commissioning of equipment by using MEGGER, FREJA 300, EGIL, SVERKER 750, MOM 600
• Active Participation in Maintenance of 66KV GIS Substation and Central Utility Plants.
• Testing of AREVA F35-72.5KV type GIS Switchgear CT using CT Analyzer
• ABB VD4 and Siemens 8KB80 type 66/11KV Main Switchgear Functional Test including Secondary Injection, Primary Injection & Stability, and Contact Resistance test.
• Testing of SIVACON 8PT 415V Switchgear.
• Bus bar Stability & Sensitivity, Transformer Stability & Sensitivity testing, REF sensitivity testing. All testing for CT and VT also functional tests in control and relay, LCC panels, GIS, MV switchgears. Modification works in schematic as well as in panels.
• Complete site Testing and commissioning of HYUNDAI TM0942 66KV/11KV oil type Power Transformers (Tests includes TTR test, winding resistance, insulation resistance, insulation power factor test of transformer winding and bushings, short circuit impedance, zero sequence impedance, Oil breakdown test and gauge calibration)
• Testing of AREVA HAR-2000-1oN6 11KV/0.415KV Dry type Distribution transformers.
• Erection of 20MW Electrical power by means of Natural gas and Diesel as a backup
• Managing 11KVTransmission and Distribution by means of SCADA control.
• Ensuring daily routine Checkup of Power Plant Electrical Section to ensure proper work as per requirement.
• Prepare and Ensure weekly and monthly maintenance Report of Different Events occurring in Power plant in coordination with Mechanical Engineer.
• Maintain balances sheets with sums and balance Investigate customer or public complaints, determine nature and extent of problem, and recommend remedial measures
• Plan layout of electric power generating plants and distribution lines and stations
• Maintenance of 11KV Switch gear, Dry type transformers, Generators.
• Prepare and manage all documentation associated with protection philosophy and related equipment for the system
• Analyzing and interpreting test information and Load management
• Providing technical assistance to Staff and resolution when electrical or engineering problems are encountered With in the Campus
• Collaborating with electrical engineers, inspectors and other personnel to identify, define, and solve developmental problems.
• Preparing electrification work cost and work-time estimates.
• Planning method and sequence of operations for developing and testing experimental electronic and electrical equipment, schedule and monitor work of support personnel to assist supervisor.
