 To clearly explain and drive the FY2021 QHSE targets game plan to the business managers to ensure team work and consolidated efforts to realize the set target.
 To introduce and drive programs such hazard identification and reporting among the work force to create awareness of the process risks during execution of tasks.
 To clearly out line recommendation and action plans that will be applied to mitigate the identified gaps to reduce the risk exposure.
 Drive the recommended action plans to ensure they are correctly allocated and ownership for implementation due date are set with procedures.
 To draw up schedules for site management plans within the directions organization procedure or work instructions.

 To involve operations and services managers in developing business baseline risk assessments detailing all tasks to help capture any possible KUEs scenarios which may arise from the process during operations and ensure precise critical control are implemented to address the challenges.
 To organize weekly meetings with management to review the performance of QHSE system with reference to audit and inspection findings.
 To ensure scheduled management / QHSE site walk about inspection are being conducted according to plan and deviation identified are posted for close out.
 To ensure continuous coaching for mining and services supervision team on how to access, upload and share information on IM share point dashboard.
 To generate a consolidated monthly QHSE starts and trends for both mining and services for circulation to management.
 To ensure the site data base is actively update by capturing all reported incidents, near misses and none conformances for trucking and investigations purpose.
 Taking a leading role in accident investigation to allow for a full investigation to ensure all sequences of event leading to the accident have been identified and recommendation past and implemented.
 To take a holistic approach in conducting training to management, supervisors and employees to align them to Sasol’s risk management elements to act as a campaign for awareness to reduce probabilities of accidents.
