Served an apprenticeship as a Fitter & Turner and then as a Mechanical Engineering Draughtsman.
A formal training in the art of draughting, from printing, layout, detail, preparation of various BOM's, the use of survey equipment.
Passed out with a Higher National Certificate in Mechanical Engineering. Trained in the RAF as a Radar mechanic. Rank Senior Aircraftsman. Served 8 years in the reserve Army, Corp of Royal Engineers reached the rank of Corporal trained as a Radio Operator Instructor, finished up with the following Trades:- Draghtsman, Driver, Radio Op. Driver Operator, Map reader, Radio Op Instructor.
