Roles and Responsibilities:
Designation: Production Planning and Procurement Engineer.
• Worked in Production planning and part procurement division, following Just in Time and lean manufacturing concepts of Toyota.
• Material planning and calculation, material procurement as per production plan using e-Kanban system. Ensuring low inventory and overflow due to fluctuation in sales by adjusting the calculations.
• R&D for new Packing modules for the new project parts in order to reduce the logistic cost ensuring there is no compromise in part quality.
• KPI management as per company standard, trying to achieve all KPI’s in the daily work.
• Preparation of reports following problem-solving technique, in order to ensure smooth functioning of production.
• Vendor management and abnormality handling by ensuring optimum stock availability at supplier end along with vendor development in the field of lead-time reduction, packing standards.
• Operation Incharge for Packing and Dispatch of export material and vendor-to-vendor (V2V) material.
• Run out during new projects, developing new part supply systems to ensure part preparation and production at a faster rate.
