2013-Present: Completions/Well Interventions Field Supervisor, Surface and Subsurface (Contract Shell Petroleum Development Company)
As a Completions/Well Interventions Field Supervisor Surface and Subsurface, was required to carry out the following: • Workshop practice prior to mobilization (testing of completions assembly) to ensure Contractor services meet Company QA/QC standards.
• Ensure that Completions/Well Intervention activity is carried out safely, timely and within budget
• Provide input for completion, stimulation, pumping and well intervention activity
• Coordinate mobilization of service contractors
• Drive health and safety measures throughout the operation as well as demonstrating a high commitment to HSE thereby actively promoting and contributing to Goal Zero, life-saving rules, DROPS AND use of safety tools (STOP, TRIC and PTW), ultimately ensuring that activities are carried out in accordance with Company HSEMS and HSE policies and standards
• Provide strong HSE Supervision and leadership with regard to on site preparation and execution of all Completion and Well Intervention Activities
• On site supervision and management of Contractors and Sub-Contractors to ensure compliance with Company HSE Standards, thereby displaying Management's commitment to safety
• Lead, mentor and motivate team on the field
• Ensure process safety considerations are fully adhered to • Ensure Well intervention/Well Work programs are keenly followed during operations, ensuring these are executed safely and that all major risks have been identified and mitigated
• Deliver job in a safe and environmental compliant manner by ensuring that HSE has the highest priority during preparation and execution of Completion and Well Intervention work programs and that safety management tools are fully utilized to minimize risk (risk assessments, manual handling assessments, TRIC, toolbox talks, STOP, AAR's etc.)
• Compile and report HSE Statistics for area under job scope
• Ensure all incidents, accidents and near misses are appropriately reported and are subject to the required level of investigation where necessary
Jobs delivered under my watch include: Integrity checks, Secondline Wellhead Activities, Upfront Slickline Activities, Wellbore Cleanup, Nitrogen Lift and Short Term Oil Generation Operations (Water shut off, Perforation, Reperforation, Sand Clean Out/Sand Wash, Cementing)

2009 - 2013: Well Intervention/Surface Well Completions Engineer (Sterock & Company Nig Ltd)
As a well intervention/surface well completions engineer was required to carry-out the following: • Participate in preparation of Job Hazard Analysis for all jobs
• Quality checking as mobilization of all resources for job
• Competent permit holder
• Conduct integrity checks/carryout first line well head maintenance
• Second line well head maintenance
• Ad-hoc/Emergency jobs
• Support services (Well Test, Coil tubing (well lift/well kill) slick line)
• Well securing
• Design and instrumentation of Emergency Shut Down Systems.
• Instrumentation of Surface Safety Devices (CCU, Com Unit, AVA)
• Surface Completions Field Engineer on Well Test Operations (participating actively in HAZID and HAZOP exercises)
