TurkNet is a leading Turkish Telecoms Operator serving both business and retail markets. TurkNet operates its own IP/MPLS nationwide backbone and deploying its own fiber network while investing in ULL network to provide triple play (Data / Voice / TV) solution for residential and corporate customers.
TurkNet offers variety of technology products such as Data Center hosting solutions, Data Center virtualization solutions, Security solutions (DDOS / Managed FW / Hosted FW / Secure Logging / IPS / IDS), hosting, colocation and any kind of access products such as Fiber / EFM / Carrier Ethernet / xDSL solutions for corporate market.
I’m responsible from Managing Technology & Design Team of TurkNet on top of that my team acts as PMO as well and responsible from e2e management of technology projects.
Standardization, government compliance, security compliance, Cyber Security (TR-CERT), ISO27001 (group manager), network economics, business analysis, vendor management are my other key responsibilities.
Before joining TurkNet Team, there was no team for Planning in TurkNet organization. I managed to build the team from scratch and designed all procedures. Currently trying to build a new R&D Center in TurkNet organization which is supported by Government and acting as Head of R&D. Recently managed to get a government sponsored a Cyber Security R&D project for Anomaly Detection and DDOS Prevention based integration of Machine Learning Algorithms, human behavior.
Since I joined to TurkNet Team subscriber base has been tripled in three years. It was a challenging task to manage to subscriber growth without any failure.
Managing 2.000.000 to 5.000.000 $ CAPEX per year and increasing every year rapidly.
