My periodic job responsibility / duties include:
o Assist in Invesgistion and Management of Infection Outbreak.
o Collects clinical data relating to hospital acquired infection for the information of Infection Control Committee and Senior Management of NMH.
o Advises nursing staff and other hospital staff where relevant in matters relating to Infection Control.
o Implements the Infection Control surveillance system based on guidelines of accepted authorities (i.e. Joint Commission on Hospital Accreditation or Centre for Disease Control)
o Coordinates the infection control surveillance activities of infection control monitors in various departments and services.
o Prepare analysis and reviews information to determine possible problems associated with data gathering, organizing and analysis and their source (s)
o Establishes and maintains effective communication with the Chairman of the Infection Control Committee, medical staff, laboratory personnel and team members.
o Carries out any other task assigned from time to time, in relation to infection control studies and epidemiological surveys.
o Participates in Infection Control conferences and workshops.
o Advises and follows up employee safety issues related to vaccination and hospital acquired transmitted infections.
o Conduct Education sessions for nursing and non-nursing staff.
o Serves on committees and task forces related to Infection Control.
o Prepares reports and initiates studies on Infection Control.
o Participates in Infection Control related research projects and wrote abract on ''Hand Washing Compliances among HCWs''
o Developed and reviewed Infection control policy according to CDC guideline.

My Major Job responsibility includes:
o Patient Care Management: in which I have to review nursing documentation and conduct day to day spot check on the following as per policies and protocols i.e. crash cart, narcotic cupboard, medication administration and patient and family education session conducted by RNs and Sr.RNs.
o Nursing Staff Development: includes carrying out learning needs assessment of all nursing staff, nominates and ensures attendance of staff, coordinates and NES in implementation of division wide in-service programmes, develop modules and participate in conducting unit based in-service, ensure completion of competency based orientation. Provide constant help to new RNs.
o Guidance and Supervision: Guides staff nurses, supervise them and provide consultation.
