Role within assignment in Customer location (Alrajhi Bank) :
IT Project Manager for Risk and Compliance related projects
• Collaborate with business, IT leadership and team to develop a well-defined project plan that clearly states the project’s objectives, scope, assumptions, timeline, resource requirements, risks, benefits and budget.
• Requirements gathering, Analysis the requirements and transforming into project deliverables.
• Managing and coordinating with all the project teams, vendors and relevant stakeholders.
• Arranging all the project related business and technical meetings, documenting the outcomes and sharing with all stakeholders.
• Work with program / project sponsors to ensure that effective program/project communication exists through the duration of the program/project including escalation of risks as required.
• Coordinate with the corresponding teams such as Change management, EA, Compliance, ISD, Finance and Operational Risk for all mandatory approvals.
• End to End project management and tracking service adherence to standard methodology and best practices.
• Prepare SunGard CMS proposals for the new customers.
• Conduct Demos and proof of concept for customers.
• Prepare implementation project management documentations.
• Install and Configure SunGard CMS ( LDRPS, BIA, RA, VA, WFA and Test Management) for customer .
• Reflect any required customization based on customers request if applicable .
• Provide Business Continuity Consultancy during Implementation of the software.
• Help customers in automating their existing BCM Process using SunGard CMS .
• Provide Training on the SunGard CMS for different Models (Administrator, and Users level)
• Customize and create SunGard CMS reports using Crystal Reports.
• Provide first level support for the customers .
• Prepare SunGard CMS proposals for the new customers.

Operational Risk:
• Follow-up reported operational loss events’ causes, controls and corrective actions with related Depts. upon occurrence.
• Prepare the “Allocation and reporting operational losses’ guidelines” and awareness sessions for employees.
• Coordinate & conduct the Risk and Control Self Assessment (RCSA) workshops covering products and services activities within different lines of business.
• Review the results of the RCSA and follow up the implementation of the mitigating corrective actions.
• Liaise between the RCSA results and Audit report observations.
• Define the Key Risk Indicator based on data collected internally and externally.
• Ensure the operational risk framework compliance with local and international laws and regulations.
• Apply risk assessment for new processes as well as the existing one on a continuous basis.
Business Continuity:
• Conduct RA and BIA sessions.
• Identify and review the BC strategies in line with BIA results and the enterprise strategy.
• Assist and monitor business units in BCPs development.
• Manage the Business Alternate Site (BAS) project.
• Conduct BCPs’ tests (desktop, walkthrough and actual test).
• Conduct the BC training and awareness sessions.
• Conduct BC live tests for business units including mobilizing employees to the BAS.
• Coordinate and participate in conducting the DR test for application systems’ servers and communication lines.
• Prepare, discuss and test the Crisis Management and Incident Response Plans.
• Ensure the BC program compliance with local and international laws and regulations.
• Regularly maintain and review the BC strategies and plans
• Comply with Basel II and regulatory requirements.
• Enhance the operational risk processes in the bank.
• Ensure the regulator's requirements and audit findings are complied with and implemented in the relevant plans
• Train and assist in conducting Business Impact Analysis, plans development & maintenance, and plans testing.
• Participate in developing Business Continuity Management (BCM) framework, policies, procedures, guidelines and standards, and communicate the implementation.
• Develop and implement BCM awareness programs and provide required training on the Business Continuity Methodology.
• Monitor and check threats and risks associated with the business by developing the appropriate controls for the existing and new ones.
• Risk assessment for new processes as well as the existing ones on a continuous basis.
• Participate in Managing the Business Continuity training and awareness programs.
• Regularly checking that Business & Support units have designed, developed and documented their BCP.
• Participate in maintaining and testing Business Continuity Plans.
• Ensure compliance of business continuity plans with laws and regulations.
• Working in environment involving tight deadlines, timing pressures, conflicting priorities and multiple demands.
• Manage the Business Continuity Projects (Disaster Recovery Project, BAS Project) for the Country responsible for. (Project Manager)..
