The Project Manager is responsible for the planning, management, and implementation of the green infrastructure project in eastern Amman. S/he is responsible for the overall management of project, both field works as well as office formality i.e. reporting and data recording.

Enhancing employment opportunities and green infrastructure in East Amman through CFW - Amman

o Under the supervision of Project Manager, design, implement and monitor the following activities:

• Ensure good relations with and support the team,
• Facilitate/organize staff trainings based on the needs analysis
• Monitor and guide the activity plan
• Monitor staff performance
• Appraise staff performance at the appropriate time.
• CFW announcement and recruitment process
• CFW attendance sheet follow up soft and hard copies.
• Community event planning
• Community trainings and workshop, like Co - design sessions, Kick off event, also CFW trainings.

 Manage staff:
Ensure good relations with and support the team, Facilitate/organize staff trainings based on the needs analysis, Monitor and guide the activity plan, Monitor staff performance, Appraise staff performance at the appropriate time.

 General responsibilities:
o Under the supervision of the Emergency Response Project Manager, design, implement and monitor (against the relevant indicators) WASH and Health activities to a high standard;
o Work with the Project Manager to draft WASH related activity plans and the related ToRs according to sector acknowledged SoPs;
o Establish WASH committees in schools and train their members,
o In conjunction with the WASH committees, train beneficiaries on the proper use and maintenance of the WASH items provided to them;
o With the Community Hygiene Promoters and other team members, promote good hygiene practices through hygiene promotion sessions and other means;
o Contribute to the design and implementation of NFI distributions and the awareness raising necessary so as beneficiaries are in a position to use the NFIs appropriately;

 Needs assessments and follow-up
o Contribute to the design and implementation of baseline, endline and needs assessments and coordinate with the AMEU and PD team as necessary.

 Organisation, planning and reporting.

Under supervision of the Hygiene Promotion and Community Mobilization Program Manager, the Hygiene Promotion Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the hygiene promotion programme in the camp.
Directly reports to the Hygiene Promotion and Community Mobilization Program Manager, and is responsible for overseeing a team of up to 50-60 Hygiene Promotion Syrian and Jordanian Staff.

 Team organization and training: follow up and supervise the attendance and the work of the HP CFW
 Strategic planning: participate with the HP Manager in choosing the campaigns and the key messages and plan for the international world day, and activate the role of the community center targeting more attendance, activate the role of the children committee.
 Community needs assessment and follow-up: doing a weekly meeting with the supervisor and try to follow up on the community needs and plan for the questions for FGDs to have the right answers form the community, and try to organize with the agency that responsible for this issue and help the community to reach the best services.
 Organization and planning: follow up on monitoring and reporting tools that are used correctly and provides analysis for HP manager. And always try to improve the monitoring and supervisng tools for the program.
 Implementation of the HP activities: follow up on the activity schedule and the materials needed for the sessions.
 Reporting: reporting on w weekly basis to the manager with the feadback and the thing need to be follow up on need an action.
 Communication and coordination: coordinate with other NGOs like save the children, NHF, JEN, OXFAM to implement joint activities and sessions

Managing and monitoring 5 - 6 Hygiene promoters, and doing random visit to the team to check the quality of the work, and conducting training for the one who need to improve his work.
 Manage and organize the Implementation of the HP activities, planning schedule for the working areas to be done on time.
 Follow up, tracking and attending sessions and ensure that the messages done on the right way.
 Reporting: report on a daily basis to the HP manager and deputy manager with all details and complains or challenges, also reporting directly and urgent cases to the management.
 Participates in community needs assessments and awareness raising if required, assists the community in identifying its needs and requirements, contributes to raising awareness amongst the community on WASH related issues, ensures a bridge between ACTED programs and the community and the team, encourages and stimulates full participation by all community members and participates in the monitoring of beneficiaries’ satisfaction
 Brainstorming with the teams to find more ways for improvement

1. Implementation of the HP activities: Implementation of group and individual sessions in hygiene and health promotion, Implementation of Focus group discussions about hygiene and health promotion, Implementation of activities with children on hygiene and health promotion, Implementation of other activates as requested by the HP management.
2. Participates in community needs assessments and awareness raising if required: He/she assists the community in identifying its needs and requirements, contributes to raising awareness amongst the community on WASH related issues, ensures a bridge between ACTED programs and the community, encourages and stimulates full participation by all community members with special attention to the most vulnerable, participates in the monitoring of beneficiaries’ satisfaction and gathers feedback
