Responsible for turbo-machinery Instrument & Control maintenance scope at ELNG
o Carry out maintenance activities (Core & auxiliary systems) for 12 Ea BH frame 5D Gas turbine - Turbo
Compressor with BH Mark Vie Control System.
o Coordinate with BH team for turbo compressors major activities
o Implantation for MARK Vie Control System upgrade plan:
▪ Upgrade MARK VI to MARK Vie Control system along 4 years plan (according to ELNG
Shutdown plans 2019 to 2022)
▪ Challenge to carry out the upgrade with commissioning activities successfully during ELNG
planned shutdowns & handover the M/Cs to production team
▪ Upgrade including hardware (TMR controller, IO Packs, IO NET and HMIs) and software
including (ToolBox ST & Cimpilicity)
o Coordinate with BH team 24KHr Major activities (Instrument Scope)
▪ LTPI & Minor Compressor Inspection for Train2 S11 & S21 in April & August 2021
▪ Carry out commissioning & start-up activities after inspection
o Upgrade plan Anti-surge controllers & valves
o Start with upgrade 2 anti-surge valve IMI actuators (CV300) with it’s pneumatic circuit
o Upgrade old analog positioner by STI FASTRAK smart positioner
o Carry out asset life study for anti-surge controllers (CCC S3+) upgrade
o Carry out maintenance activities (Core & auxiliary systems) for 4 Ea SIEMENS GT-35 Gas turbine - Turbo
Generator (GTG) with ABB ADVANT Control System.
o Join SIEMENS team to carry out Level C Inspection (Instrument & Control Scope)
o Turbo-Generator (GTG) Fire & Gas System Upgrade Plan
o Upgrade F&G control system for GTG MINIMAX FMZ4100 to FMZ5000
o Modify the wiring & obsolete devices as per manufacture recommendations
o Carry out commissioning & start-up for new system
o Carry out asset-life study for GTG control system & plan to upgrade control system to SIEMENS PCS7
o Carry out proactive enhancement plan for bad actor devices at GTG (According to GTG run/stop plan)
o Proactive plan to replace all fuel gas valves pneumatic circuits
o Proactive plan to replace speed sensors with its loop
Responsible for Maintenance Instrumentation Workshop Activities at ELNG
o Join ELNG Instrument team to achieve our KPI target (SHELL Asset Management System)
o Utilization of instrument manpower according to workload
o PM compliance, to plan to complete PM activities with-in time & before last acceptance date Control
o Control CM/PM ratio by verifying site activities to match PM work instructions
o Daily organize & follow up instrumentation activities according to weekly plan maintenance activities.
o Attend Daily Work Prioritization Meeting (DWP) with maintenance planning & day operation to discuss
opening operation work request with its priority.
o Attend Weekly Plan meeting to discuss upcoming weekly plan activities, it’s manpower & services required.
o One of ELNG RCM team (Reliability Centered Maintenance)
Responsible for Instrumentation and control System maintenance for:
o Instruments related to ELNG field package
o System overrides in DCS and SIS.
o Root cause analysis for trips and trending displays
o Carried out CM and PM for instrumentation and control packages.
Responsible for Instrumentation control System maintenance for:
o GE PGT-10 Gas Turbine Compressor
o GE PGT-25+ Gas Turbine Compressor
o SIEMENS SGT-300 Gas Turbine Power Generation
o SIEMENS SGT-400 Gas Turbine Compressor
o SIEMENS SGT-100 Gas Turbine Power Generation
o Responsibilities & Duties:
▪ Carry out Preventive Maintenances for package & auxiliaries instrument.
▪ Carry out Preventive Maintenances for Fire & Gas Detection & Fire Fighting Protection.
▪ Carry out Corrective maintenance for running & stand-by machines.
▪ Daily check for machines operation status.
▪ Issue, follow up & Implement of MOC for any modifications
- Electrical Engineer grade (C) Certify from Ministry of Municipality & Urban Planning (Qatar)
- Fire Alarm Engineer Certify for Qatar Civil Defense.
- Design, evaluate, installing, testing, commission and maintain Fire Alarm System (Conventional & Analog
Addressable), certifying and reporting in accordance with national & international standards (NFPA, QCS,
QCD).
- Prepare drawings (Shop Drawings & As Built Drawings) and documentation (Technical Submittals) for all
existing and new components of the Fire Alarm systems.
- Prepare regular progress reports.
- Study new projects & prepare suitable quotations according to specifications & Client budget.
- Develops, establishes, recommends and enforces safety practices applicable with systems.
- Design, evaluate, installing, testing, commission and maintain Fire Alarm System (Conventional & Analog
Addressable), certifying and reporting in accordance with national & international standards.
- Prepare drawings (Shop Drawings & As Built Drawings) and documentation (Technical Submittals) for all
