Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and Communicate with Field Supervision, Subcontractors and Vendors to assist
Them in working to the Project Schedule as it pertains to MEP’s
• Represent with Owner(s), Architects, Consultants, Government Authorities, Vendors
And Subcontractors
• Administer financial aspects of the Owner’s contract, subcontracts, and purchase orders
• Build effective working relationships with clients and the project team members
• Project Start-Up
• Review the general contract and contract documents and confirm the budget setup and project
Milestones in conjunction with Project Lead
• Create a schedule of values and project logs, plan for project safety and mobilization, including
Review and validation with team members
• Purchasing process and document control
• maintain the buy schedule, write scopes of work, distribute and log subcontracts, write required
Contract riders and purchase orders, and confirm compliance with project insurance
Requirements
• Review subcontractor references, obtain Subcontractor bonds, and maintain project files
• Maintain and manage all purchase and delivery schedules, change order processes, shop
Drawings, document control logs, Owner, Architect and Subcontractor correspondence
• Work with Purchasing in setting up/executing trade buyout including: defining scope of work,
• Meeting Management
• Attend all schedule and management MEP meetings necessary to monitor and manage the
project, chairing as appropriate
• Financial Management
• Manage all requisitions and payments including lien releases and project payroll and maintains
best possible cash flow throughout the project, communicating issues proactively
• Project Closeout
• Deliver all necessary manuals to the Owner, consolidates project documentation and files
• Manage subcontractor closeout, transfer of utilities, owner training, and punch list process
• Deliver all warranties, as-built and training to the owner.
• Prepare coordination drawing as per site condition and recommend solution for other
Electrical and mechanical works.
• Prepare and submit Shop Drawings for ElctroMechnical Works according To Project
Specifications and bill of Quantity
• Review BOQ and to procure material as per site condition and coordinate with suppliers.
• Prepare subcontracts bills and work allocation for as per contractual documents.
• Maintained effective working relationship with, consultants, client, vendors, outside agencies and other staffs.
• Liaison with clients, suppliers, contractors & relevant authorities ((MEDC, ROP, Civil defense
• Many projects in various locations of Oman (Residential, Medical, Commercial buildings & Villa complexes, private villas)

Approval
Key Responsibilities:
• responsible for planning and design in the area of Mechanical, Electrical and plumbing (MEP) system including developing policies standard, inspection
• procedure and evaluation tools for MEP matters involving judicial branch facilities, along with prepare,
review drawing, specification and cost estimates for the mechanical, Electrical, and /or Plumbing
• Develop best practice and maintenance management measure including the review and update of standard on a routine basic.
• Develops policies/review and standards for capital projects, facility database, and master plan information.
• conduct engineering and feasibility and economics studies and prepare reports on finding
• develops standard for design and technical specification, investigates new MEP design concept and technical
• Development of systems which are applicable to engineering problem.
• Review plans and specification according to plan.
• Manages oversee the work of subordinate staff contact architects or Engineer.
• prepare plans, details, specified and cost estimated of plumbing, heating, ventilating, air
Conditioning and general piping system.
• provide technical advice to staff designer, supervisor, inspector and contracting service
Provider, regarding installation and maintenance of MEP System.
• analyze mechanical, Electrical and /or plumbing engineering problems and formulate
Solutions.
• Identify problems in design, plan, manage and deliver multiple projects.
• Plan, organize review and evaluate the work of consultant, contractor and others.
MEP Engineer has to prepare and deliver effective oral presentation whenever required
