I am Instrumental in all aspects of setting up, maintaining, disassembling and transporting oil rigs and service equipment.
• I am responsible for cleaning the area during and after the drilling operations.
• Moving and manipulating pipes and drill stems is a big part of my job.
with heavy machinery on the deck of the oil rig.
• Moving crane loads and supplying equipment to the rig’s floor.
• I was Responsible for keeping the main deck areas clean and tidy.
• When times are very busy, roustabouts also assist roughnecks.

EDUCATION & TRAINING
The Technical and
Obtains copy of production schedule or shipping order and transports material or equipment to and from
designated areas in the facility
• Loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as trucks or aircraft
• Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility
• Stacking goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions
• Checking loads are secure
• Stacking empty pallets
• Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck’s battery and lubricating equipment
• Removing machine attachments and waste material from machines
• Examining products to verify conformance to quality standards
• Dumping materials into machine hopper.
