- Main objective is to Ensure that daily work for the financial control division is completed smoothly and record financial data for use in maintaining corporate accounting record.
- Beside daily operations, and managing subsidiaries and associates accounts, I am also engaged in preparation/ review of:
- Financial statements;
- Budget, budget Vs. actual reports, not budgeted and over budget reports
- High management reports
- Regulatory authorities reports (central bank of Kuwait)

- Provide management over a portfolio of clients and deliver high quality audit and assurance service, including preparing and reviewing audit plans and work.
- Think strategically about client needs by understanding their business and key risks.
- Identifying ways to maximize the relationship with clients and deliver added value work.
- Monitor and control auditing staff.
- Coach, train and develop auditing staff to improve their knowledge.
- Carry out managerial activities e.g. resourcing, client billing, etc.
- Oversees audit-planning, fieldwork, audit reporting and communicates findings and recommendations to line and senior management.
- Review automated audit working papers prepared by the audit staff to ensure compliance with RSM methodology.
- Responsible for the daily supervision of audit staff and their development and prepare their performance evaluations.

o Plan and prepare work programs.
o Perform tests of internal controls to ensure effectiveness.
o Perform substantive testing of account balances to determine reasonableness.
o Plan and perform operational and financial audits to ensure that financial statements are fairly presented.
o Prepare and present management reports on audit findings, which might include material misstatements of financial information or severe control deficiencies, and provide recommendations on improving these shortcomings in the future.

Prepare journal entries and reconciles General Ledger and subsidiary Accounts, ensuring that transactions of business have been properly accounted for and accurately reflect the company's accounting process, Entering the monthly journals(salaries-allowances-bonus); and Follow up on the accruals and the prepaid accounts.
