Job duties and responsibilities in :

- Report directly to Safety Director regarding safety matters.

- Manage and continuously coordinate day to day health and safety matters with management and safety stuff.

- To implement HSE Management System, HSE Policy & Strategic Planning, Effective Safety Concept", HSE Auditing (Compliance, Management, Risk), HSE Laws, Regulations & Permitting, HSE Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment, Contractor HSE Management, HSE Performance Analysis, Environmental Impact Assessment, HSE Training & Competence Assurance, Attend safety meeting and kick off meeting to the client, Conduct incident investigation and analyze the root cause and recommend safety measures.

- Propose a new Safety ethos with processes, time frame and budget.

- Assess current organization and staff.

- Rewrite the HSE philosophy and methodology and energize executive management to active participation.

Job duties and responsibilities in ARAMCO: Safety Engineer
 Ensure HS&E policies, plans and procedures are implemented consistently and effectively, and are known and understood by all HIDADA employees.
 Co-ordinate all inter-related matters between the HIDADA HSE
 Formally respond to client HSE audit and inspection findings.
 Participate in the weekly Safety Walkthrough.
 Liaise on a regular basis with HIDADA execution personnel
 Liaise with the client HSE Manager and ensure uniform application of HSE Procedures and HSE performance measurement
 Conduct subcontractor employee and visitors HSE induction
 Conduct HSE training when required
 Continually inspect work areas to identify unsafe acts and conditions and advise HIDDA line-management of those that cannot immediately be corrected

 Prepare and update weekly, monthly statistics reports.
 Conduct incident investigation for the project.
 Conduct safety assessment for the project.
 Attend kick off meeting with the client prior to mobilization of projects.
 Prepare the list of safety requirements of the project such as facilities, firefighting equipment, smoking shelter, rest shelter, PPE, first aid facilities, safety personnel.
