US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) FMS Projects, Various Locations in the State of Qatar March 2018 to present
Project includes military buildings, road network, site utilities, communication towers and
land development.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review and approve structural/civil submittals from contractor according to project specifications and relevant
standards including QCS 2014 and EM385-1-1. Submittals include Shop Drawings, Structural Calculations, Material
Submittals, Method Statements, As-Built Drawings and other close-out submittals.
- Review and respond to RFI’s (Request for Inspections)
- Attend to civil/structural site inspections.
- Attend to factory visits with contractor.
- Attend/witness to 3rd party testing.
- Attends weekly QA/QC coordination meeting with client and contractor.
- Oversee the work of junior staff, or mentor civil engineers;
- Communicate and liaise effectively with colleagues and architects, subcontractors, contracting civil engineers, co-workers
and clients;
- Assist on all close-out activities such as punch listing and other documentations.
