• Plan and organize work schedule and allocated team schedule in line with payroll deadlines and submission timescales;
• To ensure that standard operational procedures for input, checking and output are followed for the allocated team in order to achieve high accuracy levels;
• To audit check permanent changes and give advice, guidance and training to staff on incorrect input;
• Ensure compliance with statutory guidelines, audit recommendations and SLA requirements as laid down in procedural documents;
• Ensure that all calls are logged into remedy and all identified issues including under- and overpayments are resolved within agreed timescales;
• Review Remedy calls to monitor performance and data quality of responses;
• Ensure all business processes and user guides are maintained and updated where necessary;
• Ensure that all identified issues are resolved to the employees’ satisfaction within agreed timescales;
• Day to day supervision of the operational delivery of HR and Payroll Services for allocated team;
• To assist in the management of performance and absence issues for allocated team members;
• To assist the management team in the development of consistent, balanced and efficient working practices including suggestion of changes to improve the service or current procedures; Assist Payroll Officers and technician when necessary.
