- Schedule to deliver all the food items on time in order to comply with customers requirements.
- Ensure spot checks of appropriate manufacture, storage, temperature control, delivery and handling are maintained by warehouse at all times
- Ensure the maximum and best utilization of our fleet, Manpower, Equipment's & shipments while matching the required operations for receive & dispatch of materials.
- Knowledge of SFDA standards & regulations of food storage requirements.
- Demonstrate leadership in staff managing and motivation.
- Manage the product storage and quality services of items to comply with the standard.
- Ensure all new employees in the department receive an induction training methods.
- Improve the performance by motivation and monitoring staff continuously and investigate and resolve complaints concerning food quality and services,
- Manage and oversee the Warehouse and Logistics fleet, equipments, facilities and requirements in order to utilize the company resources.
- Stay ahead of the operations through Stores & Logistics visits as per company policy and evaluate the operations against the company standards.
- Perform frequent checks to ensure consistent high of preparation and services in stores.
- Comply with all health and safety regulation, staff training, storage of items and development as required and keep records for health inspectors.
- Perform tasks in safely manner as stated in policies and procedures to avoid waste of time and product losses.
- Implement quarantine methods with proper identifications for all non-conforming products like (Damage & Expire Products).
- Negotiate deals with existing logistics companies and service providers and identify potential ones.
- Maintain strong relationship with suppliers to schedule the lead-time of products receipts.
- Maintain professional and ethical relationships with external parties, suppliers and service providers.
- Communicate internally with Plant Managers and Commercial Manager for timely arrival of raw materials and dispatch of finished goods and meet with them at least once a week for accurate and up-to-date information flow.
- Coordinate with other transporters incase of urgency of load and other service providers to insure timely and in full receive & dispatches of raw materials and finished goods.
- Maintain healthy relationship with service providers and a full customers’ satisfaction.
- Process and manage all inbound, outbound for receive & dispatch activities in the Plant.
- Ensure the maximum and best utilization of our fleet, Manpower, Equipment's & shipments while matching the required operations for receive & dispatch of materials.
- Make sure that shipping documents are well managed on time to avoid shipping interruptions, etc…
- Negotiate deals with existing logistics companies and service providers and identify potential ones.
- Maintain minimum of 2 logistics companies and service providers in case of any urgency of business requirement.
- Liaise with the accounts department to ensure timely payments to maintain close relationships with all logistics companies and suppliers.
- Ensure productivity targets are met
- Ensure Company is in compliance with laws and regulations regarding transportation & Resolve any legal issues pertaining to transportation / distribution.
- Provide daily status update of performance, and report / escalate all major issues immediately.
- Provides logistics support to steel production and operations in terms of warehouse and yard services including transportation to/from the warehouse to customers as required.
- Study and implement operational and material management procedures Review, update and follow up warehouse procedures in accordance with company rules.
- Maintains records and statistics to ensure accurate reporting and implement corrective actions accordingly.
- Ensures SAP/ERP process of stock movements is properly administrated in the warehouse (reception, release, reintegration, scrap) Manage annual and monthly stock inventories.
- Responsible for personal and operational safety of yard and yard personnel. Practice and enforce safety policies as written. Perform regular HSE site audits and follow up action plan accordingly with HSE department Check conformity of all lifting gear (in / out) in strict compliance with company rules.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and neat yard and for all yard security.
- May investigate and respond to inquiries regarding distribution and shipping.
- Ensures freight forwarders are selected based on company objectives for cost and delivery.
- Maintains Shipping/transport records, including providing tracking or shipping history information to customers on request.
- Prepares Shipping/transport paperwork as well as completes shipping transaction in appropriate systems
- Maintains data and information regarding compliance with regulatory and quality holds. Updates shipping/transport order hold status as required.
- Coordinates Returned Material Authorization (RMA) process with customers, includes issuing RMA numbers.
- Communicates status of Shipping/Receiving activities to appropriate personnel.
- Review SAP /ERP inventory activity reports for transaction errors and correct these errors.
- Import external data into shared database & generate reports from shared database for various functions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Dealing and specialized in Piping Materials Seamless & Welded, Oil Field, Petrochemical Materials, Forging Carbon Steel Fittings, Forging Stainless Steel Fittings, Butt-Weld Fittings, Black Galvanized Malleable Iron Fittings, Tubes, Carbon Steel & Stainless Steel Flanges and Valves.
- Using & operating Fucos 6 system applications for analyzing the materials & managing logistic flows in order to ensure the work efficiency & prompt receiving & delivery.
- Verifying the receiving, delivery reports and quality control inspection reports including MTC's for the outgoing and incoming materials in the warehouse to comply with customers requirements.
- Schedules shipments by analyzing customer’s requirements.
- Assure quality & safety requirements to compliance with company procedures.
- Issue annual stock inventory count & check stock inventory against FUCOS6 system reports & analyzing to resolve the shortages & excess between physical quantities & system in the warehouse.
- Manage & control all the warehouse & logistics operations with special focus on proper handling & tracking the materials.
-Handling international shipments including the required customs documentation.
- Managing & planning the work progress for staff over-time, training staff and monitoring their performance.
- Following-up the international shipping documentation for clearing purpose & knowledge about customs regulations in UAE.
- Responding to and dealing with customer communication by email, fax and telephone.
- Attending joint surveys with insurance company representative in case of any damage materials were observed in order to assess the damages and to arrange claim from the respective insurance company.
- Confers with department heads to ensure coordination of warehouse activities with activities of other functions such as production, sales, records control, and purchasing.
- Manage teams of workers and deal with personnel issues.

- Setting professional Plan for all the stores in order to make the work efficient and practical.
- Identify the materials in the warehouse shelves to verify the description of materials including the code number for each item.
- Protecting covering and packing of materials to avoid accumulation of water and dust within the packing of materials.
- Verifying the receiving, delivery report and quality control inspection report for the outgoing and incoming materials in the warehouse.
- Verifying the MTC's for outgoing and incoming shipments..
- Attending joint surveys with insurance company representative in case of any damage materials were observed in order to assess the damages and to arrange claim from the respective insurance company.
- Dealing with more thane 5, 000 Items.
- Establishes operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials.
- Confers with department heads to ensure coordination of warehouse activities with activities of other functions such as production, sales, records control, and purchasing.
