• Implements the project plan and outcomes for selected project(s) to ensure that the project goals and objectives are achieved within the project timeframe.
• Reviews budget prepared by Quantity Surveyors to ensure compliance with client specifications/ requirements & company goals.
• Manage projects and coordinates with the Planning Engineer for the overall planning (work program, work schedule, target program, material delivery schedule etc.) of the project activities; defines the scope and implements project plans in accordance with the client's needs during project start-up, execution and completion stage.
• Managing all site works and ensure that it is executed in accordance with the contract, budget/ target in line with project specifications, drawings, plan and method statement/ procedures.
• Liaises with all concern support functions on project related issues and follow-up on specific projects requirements such as manpower, urgent materials, supplies and finance to ensure smooth operations.
• Direct/reviews cost variations prepared by the Quantity Surveyor and the planning Engineer and follow up the approval by the client / consultant.
• Verify and review recovery plans prepared by the Planning Engineer, communicate the plans and takes necessary action with the client.
• Plans and direct all site activities related to the installation, testing, operation, maintenance and repair facilities.
• Monitoring projects progress on site for developing project status report for Sr. Project's Manager for their review and onward submission to corporate office.
• Defines and manages overall project risk identification, control processes and quality assurance aspects of the project to ensure successful project delivery.
• Consult and negotiates with clients and consultants on issues/concerns that might arise during the execution phase; liaises on all contractual matters related to the project with the Sr. Project's Manager and ensures that the Company's rights and entitlements are safeguarded at all times.
• Directs and reviews the preparation of monthly progress payments for submission to the client/ consultant during the project for approval.
• Coordinates with the operations audit team for project auditing in terms of planning, execution, compliance with approved quality and standards, implements corrective measures to be undertaken identified during audit.
