• Manage the development and execution of Shared Services strategy covering 6 critical business support functions (Procurement, IT, Engineering, Accounting, Employee and General Services)

• Tackled a challenging project to clear SABIC AUC accounts by reducing the number of SS projects valued in total 5 billion SAR and charging them back to benefiting customers
• Re-established the Budgeting & Control department by hiring talents, defining role & responsibility, allocating resources and setting up standards, policies & procedures

• Oversee a portfolio of 150+ IT projects valued 2+ billion SAR
• Manage the entire IT cost across the enterprise averaging 1+ billion SAR in annual bases on both OPEX and CAPEX
• Monitor the IT service delivery quality to the 23 customers by setting up internal and Service Level Agreement (SLA) KPIs

• Re-establish PMO, financial and performance management department and raise the level of
projects compliance, service quality and cost control
• Address a long standing global projects settlement issue covering 5 years period engaging global
taxation and SABIC corporate finance team to arrive to successful settlement over 4 global regions
and chargeback of 1.6 billion SAR to beneficiaries
• Revise of IT projects delivery methodology within SABIC IT (STEP) aiming for simplicity while
ensuring necessary governance

Managing multiple complex IT projects under "New Entity" program which intend to support SABIC expanding business by incorporating new affiliates and newly acquired businesses into SABIC IT environment. Work on global scale with business owners and various IT solution delivery managers to implement technology enabling solutions on highest quality standard while managing other key dimensions of the projects like cost, risk, scope, and time.

Reporting the CEO, recruited to establish an IT department for the new lease and finance company with initial focus on auto lease business through tight partnership with its sister company AlJomaih Automotive. Work closely with the cross functional executive team to ensure IT priorities are aligned with business objectives. Partnering with sister company’s IT department to best manage and utilize IT shared resources.

Key Projects and Accomplishments:
• Developed 18 months IT startup roadmap driven by combination of business and technology priorities. The roadmap addresses strategic principles, infrastructure, service delivery and support, demand management, and IT policies and procedures.
• Designed an organization structure for the new department and developed a recruitment plan aligned with the identified priorities.
• Lead a competitive vendor selection exercise to identify the core application solution provider as well as conducting initial hardware vendors alignment based on shortlisted software suppliers and preferred technology.
• Development and implementation for IT procurement policy and procedure.

Advanced to manage all IT related activities within consumer finance sector. Effectively facilitate communication across eight divisions and departments to assess needs / requirements and drive unique technology strategy to enable the sector’s business objectives. Partnering with internal and external solution providers to acquire necessary system solutions. Work with IT service delivery to ensure availability and continuity of IT infrastructure services for the sector. Initiate projects to bridge technical gaps in service by evaluating, qualifying, and prioritizing initiatives to design a portfolio that can best achieve business strategic goals and then monitor the portfolio to provide the necessary support and ensure adherence to defined objectives and project management standards.

Key Projects and Accomplishments:
• Managed a major project to migrate NCB card management system from AFS VisionPLUS to FD FirstVision. The project is impacting numerous number of front and back offices business processes as well as systems integration services and most of all will enhance the experience of half million credit cardholders. This was a two years project involving teams from four countries.
• Established best-in-region benchmark for same-day loan advancing by automating personal finance credit study and settlement process utilizing advanced workflow document management system.
• Improve overall system availability by 4% and reduced number of system incidents through enhancing several service components and strict adherence to release management governance policies.
• Contributed in the development of organization wide business-IT governance guide that ensures effective use of IT resources aligned with the business priorities and defined IT strategic principles and governing policies.
• Devised a leading-edge points engine to power a responsive rewards programs for exiting credit card brands, spurring increased usage and a 15% growth in ANR.
• Championed launch of three credit card brands (Amyali, Qitaf, and Falcon) with tailored marketing rewards programs leading to 28% increase in cards sales.
• Implementation of online B2B inquiries with Saudi Credit Bureau (SIMAH) leading to enhanced operation efficiency by increasing number of applications processed per agent.
• Introduced sales web application to enable instant credit decision and kingdom-wide accessibility for sales team across unlimited distribution channels.

Manage, plan, execute, and monitor IT projects to support business activities. Provide decision support systems (DSS) and data warehousing solutions across sales, marketing, customer care, retail, and corporate divisions. Gather requirements and issues from cross-functional teams and recommend appropriate solutions. Receive customer issues and lead team to troubleshoot and resolve problems. Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate system data and provide customer solutions. Report status of projects to the department manager. Supervise project team work and coach team members.

Key Projects and Accomplishments:
• Migrated the customer model in a data warehouse to the new CCR application data.
• Automated the data warehouse ETL process and introduced a new security model to the data warehouse.
• Managed the setup and replication of a data warehouse development server.
• Implemented an investment model in the current data warehouse.
• Migrated huge data warehouse from the old IBM - UNIX server to a new HP-UNIX server. Reviewed remapped, and replicated data in the new server, ran two environments parallel, and moved users to new server without interruption of their daily routines.
• Implemented a credit card model in the current data warehouse which included information about customers, accounts, cards, balances, delinquencies, and transactions along with historical information on credit line, balances, and status.

Supported key projects for both internal and external clients to deliver DSS, data warehousing, and reporting solutions. Gathered requirements, gained understanding of client issues, and managed projects, developing DSS solutions for a variety of customers. Presented project progress reports, issues, and deliverables to customers. Supervised project team work and coached team members.

• Held various positions with increasing responsibility. Promoted several times from Programmer, to Systems Analyst, Technical Team Leader, and Applications Development Consultant.
• Implemented DSS solutions for key clients including: Savola Edible Oils, Savola Packaging Systems, Tasali Company, United Sugar Company, Azizia Panda Retail Group, Arabian Cement Company, Western Bakeries Company, and Saudi Telecom.
• Developed a full-scale data warehouse for Western Bakeries including 10 modules covering financial, supply chain, production, human resources, and payroll.
• Played key role in two migrations of Savola Group Oracle ERP from release 10.7 to 11 and from 11 to 11i.
• Developed an Executive Information System (EIS) for Savola Group’s executive management pulling information from available business divisions’ data marts.
