Job Title-1: Senior Cost Engineer.
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing and controlling the monthly invoices that submitted by the Contractor and verifying their validity.
- Hold a Price-Based comparison of contract items and contacted with engineers, designers, and suppliers on changes and adjustments to cost estimates.
- Collected historical cost data to estimate costs for current or future products.
- Reviewing and preparing the cost saving report based on the relevant Contractual Support from the Contract.
-Participates in the progress meetings (physical / revenues) and other reporting payment information.
-Challenge and negotiate claims and variations submitted by the Contractor and provide an assessment of entitlement to the Employer based on the Contract and other project documents as recommended by Contracts Department.
- Preparation of the "Dar Assessment" for the submitted RAV's by Consultant and exposing any discrepancy among BOQ, specifications and FD / PD drawings and reflecting them on the cost control issues in addition reviewing the BOQ & non-BOQ items, price analysis based on currently market price and take-off quantities.
