* Provide day-to-day technical support to Operations in delivery of production plans with ensuring guidance and develop lesser experienced staff on unit optimization, management of alarms and for provision of cost effective technical solutions to constraints and emerging problems.
* Monitor the actual performance of the existing facilities in order to verify that the facilities design targets, production yields and operating philosophies are being achieved, pro-actively communicate gaps to potential and propose improvement activities.
* Provide technical input on the actual performance of the facilities; including reliability, operability, availability and maintainability to ensure that the design proposed for any new development project is practical and realistic and unlikely to give rise to future operational problems.
• Identify areas for cost reductions and propose alternative engineering solutions for the plant's improvement proposals and identify potential synergies, which are most effective in reducing the overall operating cost. Perform initial techno/economical evaluations of improvement proposals
• Provide technical support to the commercial and legal teams during the negotiations of commercial agreements.
* Deliver and approve technical documentation (Operating Procedures) to ensure knowledge retention, continuity, and organizational learning.
* Provide the Process Engineering\Process Safety Technical Assurance function for Management of Change (MOC) requirements in their assigned area, have realised 11 MOC’s, with felicitations from high managers.
* Insure the leadership to multidiscipline (maintenance, well, HSE..) teams addressing cross organizational issues / opportunities, with brain storming meetings.
* Provide the appropriate technical assurance of project designs via conformance to SONATRACH Design & Engineering Practice standards.
* Consistent identification of potential threats and opportunities and the translation of these into timely investigations and improvement actions.
* Ensure that daily focus is maintained on running the plant and that work priorities are aligned with plant operational and maintenance needs.
* Compile month end data and deliver performance review/analysis including energy, variance analysis and plan delivery.
* Maintain basic data and plant constraint information and contribute to the development of monthly production plans target.
* To support design reviews (PFDs, P&ID), safety/risk assessments (QRA, JSA, HAZOP & HAZID)
and functional value analyses as applicable.
* Provide plant support during shutdown\turnaround events, with the position of Shutdown Coordinator & APG Supervisor for many times and reached to decease the inspection period.
* Changed the philosophy of oil treatment and reach to increase the production by 10%.
* Improve the oil quality by solving the problem of the oil stabilisation.
* Reduce the exploitation cost and decrease the Equipments damage level
* Prepare briefings and recommendations for board member on JV’s, by delivering relevant reviews of studies and recommendations to be presented for decisions and Work Plans &Budget approvals
* Develop stakeholder management plan and coordinate technology providers, consultants to insure external insights and trends, ideas, constraints are captured for the generation of improvement initiatives and their evaluation.

* Monitor and supervise through the Local Control Room facilities and site the operation of
crude and gas production/treatment plants to meet the Company's oil/gas production targets
in terms of quality and quantity.
*Ensures process team engagement with the HESS technology specialists to keep them
informed as to the major unit/systems issues and progress in resolving.
* Preparing process flow diagrams (PFDs), data sheets for equipment with required support
data and marking up P&ID’s, ISO’s to indicate proposed physical modifications and scope of
work.
* Provide effective condition monitoring of assigned units through implementation of unit monitoring protocols.
* Resolve non-routine problems concerning operation, process and controls
* Coordinate start-ups and shutdown of the plant's equipment, VFD compressors (variable frequency driver), centrifugal pumps and separators etc. Leads operators in the field to ensure major equipment are safety and efficiently prior to operation.
* Coordinate the routine / planned maintenance activities, including issuing work permits for maintenance jobs, shutting-down / starting up additional equipment to ensure that plant's
operations are not interrupted.
* Assist QRA Quantitative Risk Assessment meeting as AA (Area authority) in order to sign and describe the processes and systems that effectively identify hazards and manage risks associated with work activities and illustrates what good risk assessment looks like.
* Identify problems, raise and approve Work orders through the plant maintenance management tool (MAXIMO) in case of equipment malfunctions and/or abnormalities.
* Sign and release permit to Work for preventive and curative maintenance activities; and safety release of equipment for maintenance and take-back into service through PTW system
ensuring appropriate risk assessment is available for all activities and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
* Make diagnostic checks to determine causes of recurrent problems and equipment malfunctions to correct faults where possible with analysing the parameters. If not, raise queries to maintenance support department.
* Charged for Carrying out safe and optimum operation of Processing and Utility Facilities.
* Maintain daily logbook containing daily operating details.
* Responsible for carrying out conceptual engineering design for surface facilities related to
gas/oil processing and export.

* Ensure all equipments (Process and Safety devices) work properly.
* Participate to implement process operation to meet production target.
* Ensure and analyse process parameters in good operation.
* Report and follow up any anomalies condition.
* Participate to coordinate, manage personnel / teamwork for daily operation.
