 Coordinate the planning, development and management of assigned departments.
 Review departmental policies and procedures and is responsible to assure that all policies and procedures are developed, approved, revised and adhered to.
 Coordinate and direct the effective operation of the departmental services assigned.
 Review, approve and comment on personnel evaluation and actions within the departments assigned.
 Is responsible to assure competent fiscal management by each department head under his direct supervision.
 Coordinate and direct the acquisition of the appropriate amount of supplies and equipment for the assigned departments within approved operational polices.
 Provide counseling and limited teaching to assist with the professional development of all subordinates under my direction.
 Comply with the standards laid down by the approved International Accreditation Standards.
 Through the chain of command and/or occurrence variance report, identifies any recurrence not consistent with the operation of the hospital or standard of service for patients, employees or visitors and situations that put hem at risk for injury or other harm.
 Perform other applicable tasks and duties within the realm of my knowledge.

 Developing and ensuring the implementation of the hospital safety program in accordance with the safety management system.
 Conducting of safety inspection, audit and surveys of all hospital facilities.
 Performing or initiating investigation and analysis of all safety related incidents.
 Developing & conducting safety training & drills.
 Preparing the safety management annual evaluation report.
 Developing emergency preparedness plans in accordance with hospital incidence command system.
 Preparing the annual evaluation report
 Preparing and reviewing the safety manual.
 Developing risk assessment program, job hazard analysis and ensuring its implementation.
 Developing and monitoring utilities, equipment, hazardous materials and fire safety programs.
