Review Requisition for Accuracy, Completeness and Availability of funds and determine if the item is not available through purchasing agreement.
Initiates bid/quote process for services, supplies and equipment; consult with users to develop specifications.
Determine and develop appropriate sources of supply and maintains cooperative working relationships with vendors to stay current with trends and technologies, products and services.
Prepares bid documents and oversees the bid process; performs bid technical and commercial analysis and make recommendations regarding purchases.
Verify available funds in accordance with company's policies.
Authorize purchase orders; processes purchase orders.
Prepare and maintain relevant contract files for internal and external auditing.
• Planning, scheduling and executing periodic maintenance.
• Installing software configuration and restore data.
• Fault finding and troubleshooting for the Tornado Aircraft Simulator.
• Identify and repair failures, order and replace parts as needed.
• Analyzes reports of technical problems to determine trends affecting future design and maintenance processes.
• Materials and consumables planning and purchasing.
• Preparing training material for new employees.
• Developing technical procedures.
