The general objective of this assignment is to work in tandem and coordination with other USAID CITIES components and municipal project officers (MPOs) in the targeted municipalities to enhance community engagement, municipality - community relations, and promote community cohesion and resilience. Including supporting the institutionalization of approaches that would strengthen municipal capacity to deal with factors and opportunities that effect their local communities. Expected outcomes include improved channels for community- government dialogue and enhanced community engagement, cohesion, and resilience. This position requires regular interaction with municipalities and civil society in targeted areas for project implementation and the delivery of technical assistance. The Community Engagement and Cohesion specialist should expect frequent daily and/or overnight travel within Jordan (up to 75%).
The general objective of this position is to work in harmony and close coordination with project’s field officers’, as well as other CITIES components in partner municipalities. The team aims to assess and engage targeted communities needs and their respective civil society organizations, within their respective municipalities
ACTED/ UNICEF WASH Projects
Waste Removal and Camp Cleaning Manager in Azraq Refugee Camp December 2016 till present
- Guide implementing of, Solid waste, waste water and camp cleaning activities through entire camp.
- Manage a project of 140 volunteer and 12 fixed term staff
- Monitor the implementation of the project on the operational level, and on the technical level.
- Guide the implementation of waste removal activities in Azraq Camp
- Check compliance between general planning and activity effectively carried out.
- Forecasting and planning the Waste Removal rising based on needs at base level.
- Ensure the team has a clear understanding of the programs.
- Supervise and support waste removal activities on the ground.
- Working in harmony with all other projects’ staff and field teams for the effective and efficient day-to-day monitoring of the WASH activities in Azraq camp.
- Coordinate with other stakeholders on the ground for smooth, efficient and effective implementation of waste removal activities
- Supervise a team consists of 150 people including employees and volunteers and ensure carrying the daily tasks according to the set work schedules.
- Responsible for auditing the waste water trucks, and solid waste compactors vouchers, vehicles and drivers’ documents
- Participate in brainstorming sessions for new innovative projects
- Coordinate with other UN agencies to facilitate performing cross cutting functions.
- Monitoring the remaining dry bread collecting activity at azraq refugees camp, and processing it at Azraq Lady Charity, to serve it as fodder for animal, through selling it to domestic raisers at azraq city
Water Supply Deputy Manager in Azraq Refugee Camp May 2014 till present
- Monitor the implementation of the project on the operational level, and on the technical level.
- Guide the implementation of water supply activities in Azraq Camp in various locations recommend and make necessary adaptations to Water supply programs to meet current needs.
- Check compliance between general planning and activity effectively carried out.
- Support water supply teams in their daily activities.
- Support the water manager in forecasting and planning the water supply raising based on needs at base level.
- Ensure water team has a clear understanding of the programs.
- Supervise and support water supply activities on the ground.
- Responsible for reporting the field water supply activities on daily, weekly and monthly basis to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the reporting.
- Report to the water manager any problems arisen or anticipated.
- Working in harmony with all other projects’ staff and field teams for the effective and efficient day-to-day monitoring of the WASH activities in Azraq camp.
- Coordinate with other stakeholders on the ground for smooth, efficient and effective implementation of water supply delivery
- Responsible for implementing and communicating security or evacuation plans.
- Oversee the water quality procedures/tests and ensure they meet the Jordanian and WHO standards.
- Supervise a team consists of 27 people including employees and volunteers and ensure carrying the daily tasks according to the set work schedules.

- Responsible for recruiting the volunteers by following the Recruitment and Selection policy.

Jordan Northern Governorates / UNHCR house community projects
CSP is a UNHCR project that is concerned in supporting the Northern governorates in Jordan, (Irbed, Ajloun and Jerash). At the end of this period, we obtained the approval to implement 18 projects with a budget of 1.2 Million JOD
- Responsible for performing the required activities/tasks during the site visits and meetings with CBOs and other community bonds.
- Evaluate the public services in these governorates by using certain assessments tools.
- Prepare and write the proposals for the needed projects.
- Manage the daily tasks for the team and monitor the progress in achieving the required objectives (water supply, managing waste and hygiene promotion)
Director of Development Unit
- Oversee the Development Unit Daily work.
- Establish strategic plan for municipality contain vision, message, and general information about the area, milestone goals, mid-term goals, and short term goals, with activities.
- Report to Municipality Mayor and development team department at Ministry of Municipal Affairs.
- Support the development of the risk management plan through participation in meetings with local community leaders, youth, and women, to determine the general threats and come up with solutions.
- Coordinate with different local agencies (charities, cooperative, women committees, and Youth clubs) and cooperate and participate in their various activities.
- Perform the required assessments the for the social services to determine their effectiveness.
- Suggest projects through popular participation in local development, and evaluate projects through SWAT, to determine suitable projects for the area.

- Search for new donors to support and provide fund to the projects
Main Achievements:
- Issue the first book about the area. (collect data and photos, create format, supervise editing, typeset, and compose it at the press)
- Implement more than 5 various projects (sewing factory, commercial stores, artisan area, palm farms and public garden) which classified for the main goals its created for (water rarity Garden)
i work for one of the biggest royal court planting project, the tasks was contain, planting, designing, supervising and managing more than 40 team member.
- Oversee the planting activities, by managing a team contains more than 40 people
- Coordinate and follow up with several parties regarding the irrigation activity

in 2008 i joined al-balqa applied university for the faculty of planning and administration,my major was in regional planning, in 2010 i passed the comprehensive exams and i got my master degree my master degree was very useful to built very good experience through implementing the planning and administration standard at the field . through my x work i attend and submit for many workshops and training programs at the planning and admin field . as i mention at my C.V so here is my favorite field to work in .
1998 when i finished the general secondary, i moved to Yemen to join sanna university, my acceptance was at the agricultural faculty, i studied 2 years general agriculture then i joined the plant production department. 2002 i graduated and moved back to jordan
