One of the major infrastructure and road development projects taking place in the State of Kuwait, providing a series of complex bridges and elevated highways along the length of the project and at intersections, The Project also includes the diversion and upgrading of a number of utilities' networks including electrical and communications cabling, sewerage and storm water drainage.
Duties:
• Supervise Protocol team in providing safe protection for underground utilities. • Supervise HSE maintenance team.
• Train and inform the contractor employees on HSE aspects. • Inspects job sites to ensure specified procedures, standards, Fire & Safety Regulations are followed.
• Identify health, safety and environmental hazards
• Maintain standards of safety and comply with Company’s HSE Requirements

One of the largest educational campus in the world which include various colleges and scientific centres, construction of Bid Pack 4A which consists of underground main and branch tunnels civil works with an approximate length of 4.5 km for the main tunnel and 3.5 km for the branch tunnels with an average depth of 10 m approximately, also the construction of two gravity lines (sanitary and storm water pipelines) beneath the Oasis to connect the campus with the external MPW main lines.

Project involved:

• Airport cargo city (runway and aircraft parking)
• KNPC- MSEOC (oil sector service company)
• Sabah el salem university project Tunnel (turner projecs)

Responsibilities included:

• identify health, safety and environmental hazards
• Assist all line managers with Statutory & client requirements pertaining QHSE compliance.
• inspection of fire fighting equipments,
• implementation of safety procedures at all levels
• Assist to develop HSE plans that comply with company policies & procedures as well as client
Requirements.
• Carrying out risk surveys and risk assessments
• Provide HSE manager with feedback on HSE performance.
• Establish and maintain documentation control system in accordance to IMS (Internal & External Audit reports, Corrective/Preventative action, surveillance inspection, reports, Certification, Permits etc….)
• Supervise and administrate the HSE documents in all required areas
• Controlling environmental pollution
• Prepare & conduct QHSE presentation & training guide to employees as required
• Assisting with promoting occupational health and safety awareness;
• develop, implement and monitor Occupational Health and Safety Policy, Programs, and Procedures;
• Advising on occupational health and safety problems or obtaining advice on unfamiliar problems from Occupational Health and Safety sources;
• Bringing to the attention of staff occupational health and safety hazards associated with their work;
• Conducting tool box talks and safety training workshops
• Bringing to the attention of the relevant department heads unresolved occupational health and safety problems;
• Investigating and reporting on all incidents, injuries and occupational health problems and notifying in line with
• Assist Senior staff, and supervisors in emergency preparedness;
• Identify hazards and recommend mitigation and follow-up programs
• Assist the management in the fulfillment of its obligations, statutory or otherwise, concerning prevention of personal injuries.

Project involved:

• Installing cooling systems for (El Zour) water station.
• Installing new buildings for KOC in (El kazemya).
• Maintenance work for west and east electrical stations at (El Doha)

Responsibilities included

• Oversees remote sites, ensures that each location adheres to both FATCO and HSSE policy. Also implements strategies to prevent accidents and injuries at site.
• Attend pre-job, planning and client meetings as required on HSE related matters.
• Assist with developing HSE plans that comply with company’s policies and procedures as well as client requirements.
• Daily Tool Box Talks & Weekly HSE Meeting.
• Daily Gas Testing report and submits to KOC Project.
• Site preparation for start up of project activities.
• Implementation of work permits system.
• Submission of daily risk analysis reports to KOC office.
• Accident, incident investigation, analysis and maintenance of records.
• To provide all employees EOD (explosives ordinance disposal) Training & HSE Induction Training.
• Firefighting equipment, maintenance and training to all the employees.
• To ensure that every employee is informed and trained to perform their job in a productive and safe way in accordance with KOC policies & procedures
• To ensure that authorized program of accident prevention and emergency evacuation are in place.
• To maintain a safe and productive working environment by conducting appropriate safety, corrective action, job hazard, and environment inspections on a regular basis.
• To continuously provide specialist advice & Instruction on safety matters to all project personnel.

• Monitoring materials and MSDS inside the plant.
• Display posters, banners, sticker etc. at different locations in the plant and arrange to rotate them routinely.
• Arranging procurement and approval of all types of Personal Protective Equipment.
• Organizing and conducting Training program on Safety Topics for various categories of employees.
• Conducting Safety Inspection and Safety Audit in process units.
• Looking after Safety aspects during shut down in order to ensure safe and timely completion of jobs.
• Scaffolding Inspection and Approval
• Ensuring adherence to the Work Permit System.
• Ensuring proper reporting and investigation of all accidents.
• Attained safety meeting with client Safety Department safety class for foremen, supervisors familiarizing them with client for work permit system and Authorization for safety requirements. Regularly present during erection or demolition activities.
• Familiar with all unit process and equipment used (distillation tower, heat exchanger, adsorption and absorption units, filtration unit, ETC,
