Senior Stakeholder Management Engineer at Parsons Brinckerhoff (PB)

- PB was appointed as the Programme Management Consultant (PMC) for Ashghal “Local Roads and Drainage Programme” (LR&DP), a national programme that comprises around 230 projects, extends for 8 years and with an approximate budget of 120 Billion QR.
- After almost one year in PB, I was promoted to a senior position where I got more responsibilities in managing critical stakeholders. In specific, I managed a team responsible to obtain the approvals from different governmental agencies (stakeholders).

Tasks and Key Achievements:
- Manage the land acquisition requests required for the construction of roads and drainage structures within the LR&DP.
- Liaise with the different internal and external stakeholders to resolve design and Construction interface issues.
- Help formulate a new procedure for land acquisitions and allocations
- Manage the weekly meetings of the Utilities Coordination Committee, formed by an Emiri Decree to resolve interface issues between Qatari Governmental Agencies.
- Help in formulating several MOUs between Ashghal and external agencies such as MME (MMUP previously), and Kahramaa
- Maintain and update a land requests tracker and distribute it to top management on a regular basis.
- Hold weekly meetings and workshops with the different stakeholders to timely resolve interface issues.
- Manage an online system to assess Contractors’ KPIs
- Provide presentations to High level governmental officials up to ministerial level.

Stakeholder Management Engineer at Parsons Brinckerhoff (PB)

- In charge of liaising with the different internal and external stakeholders (a total of 42 governmental and private agencies) to ensure that all stakeholders’ needs and requirements are met. In specific, I was the main point of contact with MOTC; MME; MME-Public Parks Department, the Private Engineering Office, Qatar Museum Authority, Directorate of Natural Reserves, and Ashghal’s Public Realm Consultant.
- Develop procedures and policies for stakeholders’ requirements and approval processes
- Maintain and update the stakeholders register, the PMDS, flow charts and other management tools
- Review land acquisition and Right of Way clearance reports and ensure they are done according to the approved templates.
- Respond to technical Ministerial and Public requests within a specified time frame

Project Manager and Architect at Al Boroug for Advanced Construction

  • February 2012 to March 2013

Supervising the construction of a FM4 Mosque (the largest standardized Mosque in Qatar), with an area of 4500 sq.m.
In charge of the following tasks:
- Acting as the main technical adviser in the site for subcontractors, crafts people and foremans.
- Checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations;
- Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of all subcontractors;
- Planning the work and efficiently organising the site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines;
- Overseeing quality control, health and safety matters on site;
- Preparing reports as required;
- Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
- Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications;
- Making cost-effective solutions and proposals for the project;
- liaising with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project;

Assistant project manager, Senior Urban Planner and Architect at Associated Consultants

- Preparing the strategic plans for many cities in Egypt and the Gulf. Tasks start with the preparation of technical and financial proposals for the projects, the selection of the experts in different sectors.
The strategic plans usually start with an assessment of the current situation, setting up of a vision, objectives and a strategy to achieve these objectives, proposing alternatives for the master plan and choosing the best alternative, proposing priority projects and completing the implementation and financial plans for such implementation.

In specific, I was the assistant project manager where i was coordinating between AC, and local and international firms such as "Arthur D Little, " and "AECOM."
