- Assists in the maintenance of IT systems within established guidelines and procedures to ensure continuity of operations.
- Manages and maintain the group Active Directory Domain.
- Monitors and records systems performance to assist maintenance planning.
- Manages the IP telephony system (Mitel).
- Implements modifications and enhancements to IT infrastructure in order to increase its capability.
- Works closely with end-users to support them and provide them with the requested IT software installations.
- Internal trainer as assigned by the training department for the training of newly recruited employees on the usage of Microsoft office products as well as the enhancement of basic computer knowledge for the group employees.
- Manage and maintain the company Active Directory Domain.
-Monitor the backup, SCOM, firewalls (Barracuda and Fortigate) and Spam Filter.
- Involved in routine daily tasks under supervision providing day to day assistance and service to end-users.
- Assist the IT Manager in his activities.
- Monitor and follow up on the Web Development Process.
- Liaise with web developers and the designers during the design process.
- Report on regular basis to Line Management.
- Meet with clients to determine their need and design the website accordingly.
- Search regularly for ways of improvement of the current modules.
- Follows up on the day to day achieved tasks of the web team.
- Handled Local Accounts, Handled Off shore Accounts: which required constant traveling and on spot supervising.
- Build system infrastructure: AD, exchange, ISA, DNS, routing, internet connectivity, basic security, server based.
- Ensured adequate follow up on AD, Back up, Anti-Virus, Security in order to avoid any deficiencies or technical problems
- Implemented advanced security for: Management & operation, Wireless, VPN, Perimeter, identity & access Management.
