- Manage MENA and GCC fixed-income mutual fund and portfolios composed of Sukuk, Murabahat and other Islamic products
- Conduct fundamental and credit analysis on companies and debt structures and undertake due diligence on target funds

- Conduct macroeconomic analysis of relevant countries and markets
- Apply fundamental and technical indicators to transform macroeconomic views into return-generating trades
- Formulate opinions and trade ideas through communication with international investment houses
- Conduct month-end optimization and rebalancing of portfolios versus prescribed benchmark
- Write and distribute periodic market commentaries across the team and unit heads
- Participated in the introduction of new asset classes including interest rate futures, corporate bonds and inflation-linked securities
- Served as an instructor on Treasury Inflation-Protected Securities (TIPS) for dealers and traders at the Egyptian Banking Institute (EBI)

Graduated with Highest Honors from the American University in Cairo with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA); concentration in Finance and minor in Economics. Awarded scholarship to complete undergraduate degree at the AUC on the merit of academic grades achieved in A level and IGCSE studies.
