In my current role, my responsibilities include the following: Operation & Maintenance for Dubai Campus Supervise the Facilities Technicians and coordinate their work & schedule. Supervise and monitor the outsourced services ( MEP, Security, Cleaning, Landscape & Pest control) with the company’s onboard representatives and technicians. Follow up on daily, weekly, quarterly and yearly basis service providers schedule plan. Provide the senior management with different reports (accident report, water & electricity report, weekly incident report, and others). Monitor and report water and electricity reading and consumption. Develop a plan for energy saving. Prepare all service providers tender package including all work details and scope of work. Provide procurement dept. with full technical evaluation for all tenders. Call for tender inquiry for all services at campus. Provide space inventory & furniture setup. Ensure that all departments requests are attended on the proper way and as per the university policies. Coordinates all the University events & exams. Preparation and analysis of information related to the efficient use of facilities and space inventory with recommendations to management. Deals with all external contacts in conjunction with the Director or the manager of the Campus Physical Development Office, Prepares specifications of requisitions for maintenance and renovation works. Invites contractors to campus and explains the University’s requirements to them. Receives quotations and prepares a report outlining details. Co-ordinates with Purchasing to Invite contractor to begin work. Prepare contingency plans for emergencies (Water leak, Power off, MDF Failure) To ensure the below systems are maintained and operates perfectly : Chillers. Pumps(secondary, domestic, irrigation, ..etc ). Cooling towers. SCADA and BMS systems. Switch gear. Transformer. AHU, VAV, CAV, and the starter panels . Fire alarm and fire fighting systems. Emergency and UPS systems. MATV, Light switch and Access control systems.
